I need help on where to train def.

Featured Replies

Im currently 80 def, and im going for 99 Def. I am training at the security stronghold on Flesh crawlers. Some people were advising me that i need to bring strength potions cause the exp is going to be slow at the level of strength im at and im only 76 str. Please help me on what i should train on and use! Thanks!

Armoured Zombies. Use piety, salve amulet (e) and wear proselyte, or perhaps a Verac Plateskirt. You should use super attack and strength potions, because yes, the exp is going to be very slow. At 82-83, I got about 70k experience per hour, so you'll be looking at perhaps 55-60k/hr.

Not that this holds any relevance at all, but I wouldn't suggest getting 99 defence before you get at least 90 attack and strength - defence is a pretty useless skill.

You should try reading some of the general guides in the AOW sections, there are plenty of guides there on getting fast xp.

I heard Muggi's way which was 200k/hr I don't know if it is still there or been deleted.

Just an idea, you might be able to farm stealing creation helm. 1 game = 1 helm. If 1 helm = 35k worth of extra experience. That's 1,750,000 experience worth of experience from all of the helms when they are all used up.

If you are f2p try giant spiders lvl 50 in the 3rd lvl of stronghold of security. And yes strength potions will help.

If you have the cash, try investing in guthans and train in the bar within the bandit camp, wear a saradomin/ zamorak cloak or amulet and watch the experience fly by. You can easily harvest 45-60k experience per hour there with minimal effort.

There's a link to a great melee training guide on the tip.it forums. For your training, especially with your attack and str levels, you should always use a super attack pot and super str pot. You'll make enough money back at armored zombies to cover the price easily.
