RSBDavid
Reasons? Personal experiences with it Uses too much system memory. Horrible Virus DB Not Worth Money. I use kasparsky or w/e. Russian products ftw! [software Engineer] - [Ability Bar Suggestion] - [Gaming Enthusiast]
Georgelemmons
No. Neither McAfee or Norton are worth the money. Uses waay to much cpu and ram. Virus db is slow to update. Scans are very slow. Thanks to Uno for the awsome sig <

Dracion1
As I said before No. Just because a lot of people use it and it's 'bigged up' by the company who makes it doesn't make it one of the best. McAfee is bloated, misses things and is relatively slow. There are many free alternatives that will give better protection, though if you want to pay NOD32 will outstrip McAfee by a long way. Georgelemmons
To be honest, I like AVG even better than NOD32 and Kapersky. It's just as fast, has a great, constantly updating Virus DB (I can sometimes update 3 times a day and get new definitions each time), and is absolutely free. Thanks to Uno for the awsome sig <

No, AVG is not as good as it used to be, now it is pretty much the same thing as McAfee and Norton, with low detection rates etc. Kaspersky and NOD32, on the other end, update practically every 2 hours (Kaspersky does, NOD32 a little less), and they scan much better and have good detection rates. Kaspersky even has a good firewall. As for free alternative, I would recommend Avira, which is currently one of the best free antiviruses.
Orpheus
All of those are horrible. Avira, Avast!, NOD32, and Kapersky, in my experience, are all great antivirii programs. I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal. OPEN WIDE HERE COMES THE HELICOPTER.

D. V. Devnull
McAfee is pure fail... Read http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?p=6346693#p6346693 to catch up on one of your other threads, and learn a little of why I like NOD32 over McAfee (and for that matter, Norton) by a longshot. : ~D. And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... Sometimes even to themself.)
