So, what games could my brand spankin' new laptop run? How new is it? I haven't even taken it out of the box new!

Specs

AMD Athlon 65 X2 Dual Core Mobile Processer TK57

3 gigabytes SDRAM

250 gigabytes HDD

Windows Vista Home Premium

I should add I like simulation and FPS for PC.

Just wondering too, how much did your laptop cost Ugozima? I just really recently got myself a new laptop too:

Intel Core2duo 2.24ghz

4GB DDR3 Ram

NVIDIA 9800M GTS 1GB

320GB Hard Drive

Windows Vista 64

for $1,000 :) . Runs any game I want so far, including running Crysis @ 1920x1200 at around 25-30FPS custom settings [mostly high/very high] (and 30-35 @ 1680x1050).

(Sorry Ugo for not answering the question directly) Does it run cool enough while playing games like Crysis? Like in the 45c-60c range. Under load that's considered a normal temperature. If so, that's an impressive laptop for just a grand.

Yeah it runs nice and cool. I did get a laptop cooler for it though. :)

Should have gone in tech and computers really.

As said, what video card? If it's got integrated you'll be lucky to run any newer games.

Systems requirements lab isn't that accurate, when I had my 8400GS it said I could blitz Command and Conquer 3 but barely got 20fps at high/no AA 1280x720.
That's because it goes by the developers Minimum and Recommended specs which are frequently inaccurate. I have often played games just fine with less than minimum specs, and have barely been able to play other games with better than recommended specs.
