SportsGuy
This isn't really help. It's more of an observation of things I've seen while looking over the newest release of the world map from Jagex. How long has there been a rare tree near Uzer in the desert? What is it? (I know it's been there for at least a little while, but I just never noticed it, I suppose). What is the island south of Tutorial Island for? Are the "eastern lands" supposed to be in the northeast corner of the map (currently blacked out) or will they actually be to the west of the elven lands like it would be considered in America? is the map supposed to be as like a globe or is the RuneScape world flat (no Chris Columbus type explorer there)? Since construction came out What is the island south of Tutorial Island for? Its only building is a prison, it's used in a quest Are the "eastern lands" supposed to be in the northeast corner of the map (currently blacked out) or will they actually be to the west of the elven lands like it would be considered in America? is the map supposed to be as like a globe or is the RuneScape world flat (no Chris Columbus type explorer there)? I supose it will be east of Morytania as Runescape is currently only like 50 degrees broad, and have been hinded at. And yes RS is a globe, revolving around a star, just like the Earth
FooK-A-Ji
Sure, we are content calling RS round because the Jagex gods say so.. But who here has started in Lumby and clicked in 1 direction, be it north, south, east or west, and ended up back in Lumby?

A) The runescape gods, the existing pictures, the study decorations, etc. B) Anyone who can walk across water and through walls and unreleased areas. And don't start with those black space glitches >.< Hail to The Great Big Penguin in the sky. And Guthix, of course.

The only game I've played with a real round world was Populous 3, and that was back in 1999 : RS is FLAT until someone walks in one straight-lined direction and goes from point A to point A without retracing their steps :D
Hajutze
RS is FLAT until someone walks in one straight-lined direction and goes from point A to point A without retracing their steps :D it will be pretty hard for you to do it rl where we know that the world is round ... imagine : trying to fly around the world with baloons , carpets , gliders and etc ... it wont be pretty easy ... and who the heck would try that ... Aeon_
What quest is it used in? :| Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Saint Helens was a catostrophic geological event, in reality it was the day that Jimi Hendrix returned to Earth from the next world and actually stood up next to a mountain and chopped it down with the edge of his hand.-Random Youtuber
