Different color for one's own damage

Featured Replies

Title explains it. We need to be able to differentiate between our damage and those who are attacking the same monster. Forgive me if there is a way to do this already, I've been away for a while.

That's alot of colors...well, overall in runescape that is. Maybe if you could only see the damage done by you?

Sup noobs.

mabye it could be just a pink or something, not too different from the normal red, but enough to tell its you getting hit when theres alot of people there

How is that a lot of colors? All you would need to do is have a different color backround showing on your screen then everyone elses. On your screen it can show on specific backround but what shows on your screen isn't show on anothers. In example, you and two other people are fighting a monster. On your screen your damage has a green backround(hypothetically) but on the other two players it shows as red (default).

Although this idea would be good Jagex always finds ways to ruin possibly good things. They would put a green\blue backround on it when it should just be a lighter red(pink, as someone else said).

Yeah just enough to differentiate. I like to see that it's me hitting 16's and not someone else.

Maybe when you get a hit on someone or something it could show over your characters head. Let's say I hit a 12 on a giant, Over my head it would show "Catcher Bl0k - 16 damage done! or something like that.

:?

It would be nice if they just tinged it to a slightly different color. Just so you know which one is yours.

Sounds good to me, that'd be useful when arguing who hit the high numbers on some monster or player :)

The damage that other players do comes up in the blue splat thing (just like when u hit 0). And the damage you do comes up in red! Easy!

  • 2 weeks later...

i think it would be better for it to be slighty light red for your hits, and also slighty dark red for hits on you.

blue combat slats on kbd causing damage? i don't think so...

a black bubble for urself perhaps? or a purple! pruple is a good color since its like blue and red, so it wud blend well :D

but i agree, good idea

if anything it should be a shade of light red, or pink...just enough so we can distinguish it, but not ask questions about why its purple\yellow\blue\magenta\macaroni and cheese\etc.
