I used to like to throw big parties. Had like 500 people at my 99 defense 126 combat party. about 150 for my 99 magic and range party. now i'm pretty quiet about everything though

I catch a lot of crap for not having them. But really, since you can't drop anything of worth, why bother? I just wear the 99 cape a few days and leave it at that.

I did "plan" to have an huge party for my friends when I would've gotten 99 construction and 99 rc at the same time.. Already calculated how much money I would've left after building my "awesome" house (around 100-200M at that time)..

 

 

 

And planned to spent 50M on a huge party.. (like 20M on a drop party, and lots of other funny activities, like a drop party at an agility course, drop parties in wilderness, huge-dungeon party, hide&seek, marathon)..

 

 

 

However than the trade restrictions came out and drop parties etc weren't really good anymore.. That made me greatly lose interest in those skills (what's the fun of having lots of money when you can't share it with your friends?).

I think parties is a fun and nice break from the skilling. And when it is a 99 party it is also a very big achievement, so that just makes it better. You can chat with friends and do fun things together :)

 

I think 99 parties is very good. I look very much forward to my first :)

I don't really like going to them that much :lol:

I'll have parties for the skills I like, which are: construction, agility, summoning, farming.

 

 

 

If I ever get 99 in any other skill, there's not much point in having a party. I'll just tell my brother, and message a friend, etc.

I personally didn't have a party to saw, but had friends who I normally wc with to celebrate my 99 wc since we all had a mini type race to reach 99. Fletching wasn't big, but it was hella annoying without Fletch X, but I still had a couple of friends who happened to be in seers to have a mini gathering.

 

I don't plan on any other 99s, but a gathering doesn't seem wrong in my mind if they just so happened to be online. But then skill capes like fletching is getting pretty popular along with cooking and just lost its touch. I don't mind spending 5 mins to say congrats to someone I know, even someone I don't know.

99 party is not bad i personally like it ... but i find it annoying when too many noob come #-o

I find them cool when it's mine or a friend's, so I can have some fun with them on combat ring and stuff :P, besides it's a good way to celebrate a cape :D

I'm not much one for big parties, but ill tell people that are in the clanchat that i am in at the time that like im getting "99 in ......." in 5 minutes and some other friends that are on to come give me a quick congrats.

I feel like all the hard work it took me to actually get the level for a goal ends up being much more satisfying than actually looking back and seeing I have the level.

becomes a slow boring process if you have more then 1 99, i like to get it asap not sit around and wait and plan dates.

If you want your friends to see your accomplishment, that's great. If they want to see you get it, great too.
