vooovv
Hello everyone, I was wondering whether it was realistically possible to go in one trip from 70 to 99 range slaying aviansies. What would be the ideal equipment? This is more theoretical than anything but I was wondering if anyone has a picture of aviansies tanking to see the kind of rewards you get from say killing 1000 so I could work out how much it is possible to make. I was also wondering where you would do it. Would it be in the armadyl section of the godwars dungeon or would it be in the main part. Anyone who any views it would be great to hear from you. thanks vooovv Thanks to Kadad06 my cousin who got me hooked on this awesome game.
walka92
if you wanted to do 70-99 in 1 trip, while possible, would take a looooong time. weeks. the best equipment would be probably be bandos legs archer helm, neitz helm or armadyl helm black dragonhide body or armadyl body dragonfire shield glory/fury ranger or snakeskin boots avas accumulator rune crossbow and youll need alot of bolts. preferably broad, they are the most effective [i find] but you will need alot of them, probably over 100k for invent, alot of alch runes. probably a few k 5000 bones 2 peaches tablets excalibur [for spec] or sgs [if you have. use sgs spec on the zamorak monsters in the area. gives pray+hp] some food it could be done, however it is easier to simply do 1-2k kills per trip and then bank, sell the bars to buy more supplies. its unlikely to get 70-99 you should do it in the arma room part, imo. because its less crowded. but you MUST have some arma item else youll get piled by everything that moves. in the middle area you also need a sara and zammy item I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come
Makoto_the_Phoenix
I actually plan to camp Aviansies until I have enough Adamant bars for 99 smithing (on Adamant platebodies, go figure), and I think that I'd probably do it where there were few interruptions, namely near the entrance. It's been a hot minute since I've been back in there, but that's where I'd sit. I also don't believe that it's realistic to get 99 from 70 in one "whole" go. You're going to get bored, you're going to want to do an update, or you're going to want to otherwise leave the Range training, so take it in (significantly) smaller chunks. Pballer007
Yes, bones to peaches. Have fun, see you in 1 week when you get bored. Or, see youi in 4 weeks with 99 range and a ton of addy bars. Good luck.

Friendyboy
It is NOT possible to get 70 to 99 range on aviansies! The maximum numberof any type e.g armadyl is in fact 4000. So unless 4000 kills will get you 99 range (it wont), then no. If you decide to train on them anyways, with 70 range, I strongly recommend using range potions. I also suggest using an item from ALL 4 God types, or you will not last too long. Use broad bolts, and at least 50 bones to peaches to get a decent kill count. 16x Black mask1x Dragon Chainbody1x Dragonic Visage32x Dragon BootsObsidian Drops:-13 x Cape/ 6 x Shield/ 6 x Maul/ 750+ Onyx Tips

That doesn't mean you can't keep killing them... #-o Three months banishment to 9gag is something i would never wish upon anybody, not even my worst enemy. Friendyboy
You obviously have no clue. You will no longer beable to damage them there after 4000 kills. vooovv
does anyone know for sure about the 4000 thing because if it is true then that kinda sucks considering it would take about 20k + to get 99. It is more of an idea at the moment than a plan as I think it would be really cool to get 99 range and also to get 80m + in one trip. Either post a video of yourself getting 4000 kills and then not being able to do anymore damage or gtfo. [hide]Damnit, I tripped over Magzar's half inflated blow-up doll and hurt myself. I wish he wouldn't leave that thing lying around. -.-[/hide]

mister_moocky
Pros: None. Cons: - Risk of dying and losing 60m+ - Lose out on millions because you wont be banking ranarrs, half keys, and you wont be doing clues - You'll either get bored and leave, burn out, or spend the next 1-2 months of your life bored to death It's a rediculous idea, but if you insist, the best set up would be: Zamorak coif Amulet of fury Ava's accumulator Armadyl chestplate Bandos tassets (replace with Armadyl plateskirt if you've got 90+ defense, or a healing familiar) Ranger boots Rune crossbow Archers ring Dragonfire shield (replace with unholy book if you've got 90+ defense, or a healing familiar [if you use an unholy book, replace the Zamorak coif with an Armadyl helm]) Barrows gloves > Regen bracelet* > Zamorak bracers (if you use zammy bracers, use an Armadyl helm) Broad bolts *my opinion 23k broads has lasted me levels 89-95, using a set up with similar stats as above. I would bring 60k (if you run out, you could probably get someone to bring you some more). I can't help you with b2p because I heal with Guthans. With Guthans, I get ~1.5k killcount and ~4.2m a trip. quit
vooovv
ok I have to say it seems like a stupid idea now. About 1.5k seems about right before banking thanks everyone for the advice Thanks to Kadad06 my cousin who got me hooked on this awesome game. walka92
You obviously have no clue. You will no longer beable to damage them there after 4000 kills. FACT! actually you can. i camped sara mages for 4k kills and kept illing them and got another 3 boots before i left. 4k kills is just where it stops counting; you can still kill them. unless they changed it since then I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come
