Aviansies or Blue Dragons?

(This will be about the 3rd thread similar to this I've posted recently.)

I'm going to be going from 83-90 Range fairly soon. I'll have a reasonable amount of money to work with (not enough for Armadyl), 55 Slayer for broad bolts, etc. Bear in mind I have level 1 Summoning and don't plan on raising it for a while.

With no familiar, which is a better monster to train on out of Aviansies and Blue Dragons? If someone could give me rough estimates of gp/hour and exp/hour that would be great.

Cool.

I would say aviansies since it's almost always crowded at the blue drags and you won't have to wait around for aviansies to kill.

Another advantage to the aviansies is that it will be more profitable for you and you can camp out there for a long time if you can use btp tabs.

83 Defense by the way. If I did Blue Dragons I'd be doing them at the Ogre Enclave during peak times, and possibly Member's Dungeon during low times.

So is it easy to stay at Aviansies for long periods of time? Because one thing I was worried about was the amount of time it might take to travel to the GWD in comparison to getting to Blue Dragons.

Thanks for the replies everyone. :)

Cool.

Getting to GWD is probably faster than Ogre enclave lol. (If you've done Eadger's Ruse)

Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

I had 32 b2p tabs and went into Armadyl's Eyrie and ranged there. I lasted 4 days.

I would suggest doing aviansies and taking a day or 2 of blue dragons in between for a change.

Snow gets really boring after 4 or 5 days camping. ::'

At 83, you should have no trouble camping aviansies, since 77 lasted me 500 kills with only 10ish b2ps.

If your set on doing just one, I would definitely do aviansies.

Lot's more exp since you don't constantly bank, and it's not very crowded compared to dragons.

Broads aren't ideal, Obsidian rings are. Given, they cost a hell of a lot of money, but they are the ideal Range weapons.

I was meaning more in terms of cost efficiency. I'm guess you make quicker kills with rings but lose a lot more money?

And jader, that sounds like a good idea. Switching between them I mean. But I'd say I'll be paying more attention to Aviansies. Then again, I don't really want to be staying up there more than a day at a time, because I want to take breaks every now and then for Farming runs.

Cool.

Camping at aviansies for days? In P2P that means you're missing out on a lot (Bork, farming, etc. etc. etc.)
