January 29, 200917 yr Sure, when you see this thread you think: Oo! Unicorn > Bunyip! But I dunno. [hide=Bunyip's Pros]The Pros of a Bunyip: -Heals 2hp every 2 seconds -requires no special move point -costs ~5m cheaper -you can eat raw fish with NO delay! -is only level 68 (i think 68)[/hide] [hide=Bunyip's Cons]The Bunyips Con: -they do not attack but, but neither does the Unicorn -it may be quite slow[/hide] Unicorn~~ IN CONSTRUCTION ~~ ~made by Silvermist82
January 29, 200917 yr Places that needs more healing than bunyip provides, use Pony. Else bunyip : Even though the cost to get to lvl 88 is high, it will greatly improve your length of stay in monster hunting places. Thus for slayer = bunyip, monster hunt = Pony It is really hard to pick which one is better depending on what you always do. February 7, 200917 yr There is no need to reserve posts. Bunyips are good for low attention training, like when powertraining. Unicorns are good for healing in places where you'll be taking higher damage for a long period of time, and be paying attention, like bosses and some slayer tasks. quit
February 7, 200917 yr It depends on what kind of damagd you take. If it is constant but low, then bunyip. It will keep your HP high. If you are getting attacked in a inconsistant but high damage fashion, then obviously unicorn Dungeoneering isn't a skill. I'm faster than bots at Sorceress Garden. PM me if you want to chat. My PM is always off. My keyboard is on fire. Want some?
February 13, 200917 yr For training, I would prefer bunyip. I know I don't have 88 summoning, but having to worry about using the special would annoy me. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
February 13, 200917 yr Who posts a rant that takes them 2 minutes and says they will update later and then two weeks later its not updated? Pureprayer, you're awesome.
February 14, 200917 yr For cheap, quick, and situations where healing isn't needed, bunyip or a fighter familiar. GWD or mithril dragons, fruit bat all the way. 80 healing in one spec bar. Slightly better then the 45 hp for the unicorn scroll bar. And don't tell em about micro-management, I can keep up my attacking pace while picking up papayas. So, Lone Star, now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb.
February 14, 200917 yr Bunyip is the best healing familiar in my opinion. (currently 72 summoning) I would use Unicorn in bosses though ^^ Thanks to Vey for the hawt siggie <3
February 20, 200917 yr For cheap, quick, and situations where healing isn't needed, bunyip or a fighter familiar. GWD or mithril dragons, fruit bat all the way. 80 healing in one spec bar. Slightly better then the 45 hp for the unicorn scroll bar. And don't tell em about micro-management, I can keep up my attacking pace while picking up papayas. You can't really use it well at GWD or Mithril Dragons. With the Unicorn, all you have to do is click a button. For the bat, you must click, pick up, and cut some things. You will recieve MUCH more damage during that time. You also loose time eating. Chances are you are going to get hit while eating 2-5 things. Its only good while safespotting. Dungeoneering isn't a skill. I'm faster than bots at Sorceress Garden. PM me if you want to chat. My PM is always off. My keyboard is on fire. Want some?

Unicorn is for the lazy. And I mostly only eat papaya's, unless it is in between a spawn. Plus, you can click scroll, and not interfere with attack. Then, the moment you shoot/attack, pick up the papaya, then click "attack," right after. You'll end up with the same attack speed as you normally would. And I cut nothing, it isn't worth it. Focus only on papayas. That's just at GWD too. I went on a trio Kree'arra today, and didn't have to brew once my bat came out. Then again, I'm good at clicking and quick attacking (mage reflexes) but I'm sure anybody could pull this off. So, Lone Star, now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb.

February 23, 200917 yr This debate seems dead. We all agree that unicorns are for monster hunting, and bunyips for pretty much anything else. Bunyips work for every slayer task for me.
February 23, 200917 yr Depends on the monster. Things that tend to hit often at 8+ I use a unicorn at (like waterfiends). Things that don't hit so much I use a bunyip for (like basically everything else).

Then again, I'm good at clicking and quick attacking (mage reflexes) but I'm sure anybody could pull this off. Well, there is a animation when you click the scroll, so unless you are using a slow weapon(Godsword), you are going to miss a hit no matter how fast you are. And, like I said before, you can only do it when you are not under attack. At GWD, you are going to be hit for more than that by the time you eat everything. If you don't cut, then you'll barely get above 10hp a scroll. Not having to brew is a complete BS lie. I've only been Kree twice, but I can tell you that she and the generals hits very accuratly. A few papayas won't cut it at all. Dungeoneering isn't a skill. I'm faster than bots at Sorceress Garden. PM me if you want to chat. My PM is always off. My keyboard is on fire. Want some?

I just told you how I can keep up my same attack speed, while picking up papayas and generating more. And I don't cut, I actually enjoy my life at the moment (haha). I pick up only the papayas, unless I'm not in combat, but I can heal just as effectively in combat as out. And concerning Kree'arra: Solo, it is a hassle and not worth it. Duo, use it, still the beast healing. Titan doesn't cut it. Trio, if you don't sue it, you are insane. I am 93 DEF, 99 magic and range, but I did not brew once for several kills. You seem to call me a lier alot, why not actually try it for yourself? So, Lone Star, now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb.

You seem to call me a lier alot, why not actually try it for yourself? It doesn't take much smarts to figure out Kree will hit you for mroe than a measly 5-20 damage in the time it takes you to eat all of it. The scroll does not really effect slower weapons, but if you use a whip, you do have a slight delay. Even if you do manage to eat, you miss out a turn of attack. Thats fine in between kills, but claiming you are using it exclusively is absolute BS. Dungeoneering isn't a skill. I'm faster than bots at Sorceress Garden. PM me if you want to chat. And do you think Kree'arra will hit me for 8-20 damage every 4 seconds, which is how long it takes to summon and pick up a papaya. Yes, I did have to brew eventually, but I lasted atleast 5 kills without touching one. Don't be so quick to call my claim false, I am 99 range and magic with 93 Defence. So, Lone Star, now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb.
March 1, 200917 yr Epic typo, bunyip heals 2 hp every 2 seconds. Bunyip > all familiars =D. Are you serious? I thought it was 2 every 15 seconds. :?
