Yes, I do think Kree with hit you for 8-20 damage every 4 seconds. One attack should put you that far behind, not to mention minions. Dungeoneering isn't a skill. March 11, 200917 yr The bunyip is more practical when killing any monsters where it can sustain your hp, due to it's automatic healing and extremely low usage cost (no scrolls needed). A bunyip is actually viable for some hard-hitting tasks like waterfiends where the swallow whole special effect is extremely useful, but in my experience the unicorn is still better here. I like to use the unicorn on any slayer task where I often find myself eating food to make up for some of the hp lost, e.g. black demons if I decide to tank, goraks, abberent spectres etc. So basically the unicorn is good for killing any monster where the bunyip does not do enough, though it costs more to get the required level, and more money and concentration to use it.
March 12, 200917 yr Bunyip is the best healing familiar in my opinion. (currently 72 summoning) I would use Unicorn in bosses though ^^ lolwut? Bunyip is 68 summoning. POH Agility Course, Please Support!

Bunyip is 68 summoning. hes got 72 summoning, so he can use the lvl 68 bunyip OT as said bunyip is better in general but unicorn is better at strong stuff Orthodoxy is unconciousnessthe only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed.
March 15, 200917 yr Well, I've had 88+ Summoning for quite a while, and used the skill as much as possible during my bash to 99 Slayer :P I have to say, for most tasks that I didn't use a combat beast, I used Bunyips. Yes, it's true that Unicorns heal a lot more per hour, and yes it's true that their healing is much more controllable and yes they do last longer... But, and I don't know if I'm the only nerd to have noticed this, but when I use Summoning Scrolls a decent amount, it slows down my weapon Special Attack Bar refilling rate. So if I can get away with only using Bunyips on a task, I will, purely so I can have more DDS Specials :D There are only three tasks I can think of off the top of my head that I chose Unicorns for over Bunyips. These are Skeletal Wyverns, Mithril Dragons and Waterfiends. I think the first two are obvious if you've ever tried them, and Waterfiends... I dunno, their hits are a bit too erratic for me to trust Bunyip's very stable, constant healing to. I hardly ever did Wyvern tasks before I got Unicorns, but now I always do them and I'm glad of it :D For other things besides Slayer... I don't really have an opinion, as I always use a Titan or a Yak for bosses and PvP :P The presence of those seeking the truth is infinitely to be preferred to those who think they've found it.

April 6, 200917 yr For cheap, quick, and situations where healing isn't needed, bunyip or a fighter familiar. GWD or mithril dragons, fruit bat all the way. 80 healing in one spec bar. Slightly better then the 45 hp for the unicorn scroll bar. And don't tell em about micro-management, I can keep up my attacking pace while picking up papayas. You can't really use it well at GWD or Mithril Dragons. With the Unicorn, all you have to do is click a button. For the bat, you must click, pick up, and cut some things. You will recieve MUCH more damage during that time. You also loose time eating. Chances are you are going to get hit while eating 2-5 things. Its only good while safespotting. Ever heard of spawn times? Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

Ever heard of spawn times? Uhmmm, you can be on low health whilst the monster still has lots of hps... -.- Anyways, Imo, anyplace where the bunyip doesn't heal enough, you should use a unicorn, fruit bats do heal more per special bar, but what about times where you're full inventory, of items that you picked up? Say, waterfiends, they drop a large variety of things, and they hit, often. You don't exactly want to waste time to pick up your papaya's, and you might be too low hps to even eat them in time without dying already. Using the fruit bat between spawn times for healing is fine, using it exclusively above everything else is not.
May 23, 200917 yr This is a silly question. When you need more HP, go with the Unicorn. When it's not needed go with the Bunyip. That's really the answer to this question, I'm assuming it's been said. As for the is it worth leveling question, that's up to the player. Speaking in my experience, it's definitely worth leveling. It's 2 hp every 15 seconds, not 2 every 2 seconds. And the unicorn gives 42 hp/2 minutes. [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]

Yes, I did have to brew eventually, but I lasted atleast 5 kills without touching one. Don't be so quick to call my claim false, I am 99 range and magic with 93 Defence. Potions don't have attack delays if you time it right. Food almost always have a delay, except the first slice of a pizza. (And a couple others.) They changed the slice of pizza, maybe you can still use slice of pizza + shark to heal fast but on it's own it costs an attack turn.

May 23, 200917 yr There's no delay on the first slice, hence why you can eat a full pizza in 1 attack turn. The second slice has a delay.
