Danqazmlp
So I tried Multiplayer for the first time today (Spent around 2 weeks just on singleplayer) and didn't just get beaten, I got my backside handed to me on a silver platter. It's just so different playing against other people. Want to be my friend? Giordano
*sigh* I was modding the game files to allow custom flags in and somewhere I messed up so I re-installed the game. Unfortunately for some reason my saves didn't go through. Shoulda realized to back it up or something. :wall: There goes my Nord and my briefly played Khan bandit. Oh well. I'm going to start up again this time in Rhodoks, my favorite nation. Should I have a x-bow or thrown weapons? Danqazmlp
Crossbow. Throwing weapons are good due to only taking up one inventory space but they come in such low amounts it just isn't worth it. Napalm
My usual setup is 2 handed sword, bow & arrows, and a set of throwing spears. Even with lvl 3 in throwing, and very low proficiency, I can almost always make a 1 hit kill out of the spears, which is great for risky situations where your horse dies and you're being chased by a horde. Also, I was about to capture my second castle for my kingdom, I get knocked out with the castle only having 19 men left. I had to build a siege tower, which would take 90 hours because I made my engineer my vassal, and I had no food for my troops, so I just figured out I could restock on supplies and come back later. I get there and see that the nords took over the castle and left 90 units in it. Raged so hard.
pennywise
Damn it Sargoth, stop going to war with all the powerful factions and start focusing on the weaker ones like the Vaegirs. How do you expect me to command my soldiers to kill their own countrymen? I've had to deposit 100 troops into one of my castles because we're at war with their factions :( Eight Bananas, MD. Danqazmlp
Been playing this mod: http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?board=189.0It recreates 7th Century Britain and Ireland, with Saxon, Angles, Picts and Celts among various other peoples'. It makes major changes to the character creation, letting you even choose your height. It really does take the game to a time when it feels like you are in a very uncivilised landscape. Kind of hard to describe the full mod but it is very good, the best I have played. Want to be my friend? Giordano
I checked it out, unfortunately I'm not that into the ye olde British era. It is well done though. I've started playing "With Fire and Sword" stand-alone game and it's vastly different. Anyone checked it out?
