January 31, 200917 yr Stay up for 24 hours refreshing the GE every minute with your character's name and password pre typed and standing at the ge with money to buy at max. Log in a put in an offer at max when the GE updates the prices. I gaurentee you'll get a pair. quit
January 31, 200917 yr It is possible to buy them at max, just not instantly (not last I checked). I recently bought a pair for 30m (mid price was ~28m). I had to leave the offer in overnight for it, but I believe they're getting easier to buy now that the rumour of a crash is running around. I may have got lucky, but I doubt it. If you have the money and a bit of time you will be able to pull a pair from GE eventually. Why: #1 they are as hard or harder to get vs. AGS (Requires every quest complete, essentially maxed combat, takes a while to get to, very dangerous) #2 they beat AGS for spec. Whip + defender beats godsword for training and PVP non spec. Now that the AGS is no longer king, I can't think of any reason to use it. Yet it's still staying fairly stable; I would expect claws to settle close to AGS price The only reason they buy every now and then is CS+Merchanters dumping, I know of at least 3 clans that have dumped in the past 4 days (yet the rise continues), and my friend dumped 9 a few days ago. I never said it was better than a Whip, all I said was that it is one bad-a** weapon, and it is still a bad-a** weapon regardless if there are better ones.
