So as a sarcasm-ish joke I said 'I'm a 60 year old man, trawling for little boys. :)' 2 hours later, i've gone from 0.1 black marks all the way to 10 black marks and am now permanently muted. How unfair is that? I know what I said was kind of wrong, but 10 black marks and a permanent mute seems far too harsh for me. How should I go about sending my appeal? I might just break all their rules and sell my account on ebay, if they don't lift the mute. I honestly beleive I should've been muted for a day. But a permanant mute is far far too much tbh. Kepihan Posted February 2, 2009 Author Share Posted February 2, 2009 The game is supposed to be a social game, I retaliated ONCE to all the ridiculous comments that noobs say, calling you a no lifing nerd and what not. And what do I get? Permanent Mute. I know people who have been banned loads of times, and muted, and still no perm. They slowly get black marks. Getting 10 for one small-ish offence is [bleep]ing ridiculous, and never being able to talk properly means the game will be far less enjoyable. I believe that because of what you said you do desereve a mute. Maybe not a perm mute but I believe it should be longer than a day. Even if you said what you said as a joke it offened someone. we need to take the time to think about what we say before we say it. Write a well-written appeal, even though it will probably be read by a machine while SBAT'ers are drinking their afternoon tea, no matter what Jagex says.
