February 20, 200917 yr Hi Tip.It! :D Well I saw the sticky at the top about a new style, and to be honest I think this style would be great for Tip.It. It is RuneScape themed I suppose and looks really nice. Here it is on the phpBB styles demo: http://www.phpbb.com/styles/demo/3.0/ The style demos are currently offline, but when it returns, choose "DarkFantasy" from the drop down box provided in the corner. Thanks :) What's Runescape?
February 20, 200917 yr I think it's going to be down for a while, as the phpbb site got hacked. I'll take a look at it though. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
February 20, 200917 yr Whoa hold on, when did the php site get hacked y_guy? I dont remember this. 2 weeks ago I think. They were using a phpbb2 database or something, and it had very weak password encoding. The site appears to be back up at the moment though. February 21, 200917 yr The skin looks interesting, but for me it was sort of difficult to read the text. Forum Updates & Suggestions <------ Let your voice be heard!Forum Games <------- Coolest place on Tip.ItTip.It Forum Rules <------- Read them!
February 21, 200917 yr Author If the Tip.It Crew fixed it up a bit it would look alright I think :) What's Runescape?
February 21, 200917 yr I looked at it. It's a nice style, I don't think it would fit with tipit well though. "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
February 21, 200917 yr I looked at it. It's a nice style, I don't think it would fit with tipit well though.Out of curiosity... How do any of the styles fit with tip.it except the tip.it one itself? :? I like the style, though I'm not sure it would pull me away from the default theme, because I'm so used to that one, but I just don't see how saying 'it wouldn't fit well with tipit' is relevant, considering we already have styles that don't 'fit.' Could you explain that, maybe? Ambivalent as to whether this should be added or not, since I doubt I'd use it and I'm not sure how easy/hard it is to add styles. [hide=]The light at the end of the tunnel is the demon-infested lava pit.17 blue = sadhoo = wholoo = 100vo = broken ice cream cone = sad children = sad babies = dead babies bluehooloovo = sadwho100deadbabies = Who is sad about 100 dead babies? To be honest, It looks like the kind of style more commonly favored by clans using phpbb forums. In general, the tipit styles are somewhat simpler and less flashy. I am sure some people would still be happy to use it, it just isn't what I think of when I think of tipit. I really didn't mean fitting with the colour scheme, I know that none of the current styles fit in that regard, except for tipit_theme. February 23, 200917 yr AcidTech Green; Serenity Green. If those can be edited so that they stretch to the entire screen resolution, then those are my nominations. DarkFantasy is way too non-community featured with the glossiness of it all. My opinion.

March 9, 200917 yr Just remembered this topic now. I actually am using this skin on a test forum I am playing around with, and dsavi_x4 and myself (mostly him) modified it a fair bit. Would it be tip.it worthy now? http://tortureclan.izfree.com/ "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti

Yeah certainly it still needs work, I was basically wanting to simplify it more. Any suggestions? "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti

The only problem was that we hit some snags trying to make it fit across the whole screen, and it was easier to modify then background then to redo all the images :) "It's not a rest for me, it's a rest for the weights." - Dom Mazzetti
March 23, 200917 yr IMO a style that utilises the full screen width is more practical than a fixed-width style anyway.
