I am trying to get 99 magic, and I want money, i hear you can make good money at barrows. I just don't know what spells to use, I am also willing to get about 75 magic THEN going to barrows. ATM I am 65 magic.

Going to barrows at 65 is fine, I did it around that level. :thumbsup:

Yea, did it around lower 60s. You can use slayer dart, or fire bolts with chaos gaunlets, or ancients.

Slayer Dart! Get 55 slayer 8-)

Slayer Dart is great at Barrows but you need 55 slayer. Reason it is so good is the rewards are runes which you can use to go again.

 

 

 

Wave spells are good too.

Wind wave if your doing 1 or 2 runs per trip, slayer dart if your doing 3+.

Using fire wave I get around 3k xp/chest, so Barrows isn't that good xp.You'd be better off with other varieties to train mage (some of the Lunar spells,MTA or Ancient spells if you can afford the costs).

Use a black salamander if you can, by far the best method. Can't remember reqs for it though..

Use slayer dart and you will earn a lot of money and quite a lot of xp as well. Good luck.

I'd say get 75 mage then go barrows with fire wave.

 

 

 

FACT: fire wave beats slayer dart in ALL aspects, its cheaper, does more damage and gets more exp.

Trust me on this, you can barrow at 40 mage and pwn easily. I cast fire bolt and my mage is 56 only. Its really easy.
