Dwilder19
--------------AS OF NOW ONLY A MEMBER WORLD TIP ONLY--------------- ---------- FURTHER DOWN ARE OTHER RANGE SPOTS ---------- Introduction: This is a method of using Tip.It's own Range Guide on the 60-99 lvl spots I found a way to get almost unlimited range xp(and prayer if you take the time). Simply range IN the cage at King Lathas Training Ground. -Firstly for this method to work at all use Ava's Attractor/Accumulator(from Animal Magnetism Quest). If you have done the quest but lost your Attractor/Accumulator you can go back to Ava in Draynor Manor with 999 gp and 75 steel arrows and get it back. Items Recondmended: (In Construction) *Armor* Head: Archers Helm/Holy Coif/Robin(if dont mind wearing) Torso: Red D'Hide or better Legs: Red D'Hide or better Gloves: Best RFD Gloves/Red D'Hide Vamps or better Neck: Fury (but Very Risky) Shield: (ONLY if Using C'bow)Dragon Anti-Fire Shield Boots: Snake Skin (for cheaper but effectivness) Ring: Ring of Life/Wealth/Explorer 3 Cape: AVA'S ACCUMULATOR - Some say to use Full Void (This takes a long time to get, but worth it) - DO NOT use parts of Karil's Barrows Set, unless you dont mind fixing it * Weapon * - Use a Bow (Short Yew and Up)(Short Magic and up on High Lvls Spots) - or C'bow (Rune) ---***---Use these instead of knifes because of the distance for rapid fire, but its your call. ---MY METHOD / AUX METHOD--- King Luthas Training Area(Orge Lvl 53) Drops are : Ok - Start by getting to the King Lathas Training area, which after the Biohazard quest is easy. Or you can just teleport to Ardougne and travel NE(more East then North), until you see a big caged in area with two Guards outside the door. CLick on the door and go inside. Go to the Range Ogre Training Cage to the NE in the traing area and go inside of the cage. By using a spot on the West side of the gate. - The object is to get on one side of the cage(from the inside of it) and fire/range at an Orge on the opposite side. Having him come after you but he cant walk threw his fellow Orges. Thus creating a shield so you can fire at the Orge and retrieve your arrows at the same time(creating almost unlimited XP). - Staying inside instead of outside the cage, like many others do, allows your Accumulator to work and pick up 75% of your arrows, instead of outside where you can NOT get the arrows using your ACC. Now every now and then the other Orges will move but move with them, as they are your shield, and keep attacking while moving to the other side or even just a corner where fellow Orges will protect you from harm. Also when using this method you will be FIRST in line for all those Big Bones laying around and maybe an occasional Ranarr Seed to add a little coins, or more arrows. Added Notes: -The method of using an ACC and gaining Almost Unlimited XP will be referred as AUX Method further in notes. - Also another method, but simular to the one stated before (AUX Method), but takes 2 people. You should stand back to back to one-another(inside the cage) and shoot at an Orge on your partners front and he/she should do the same. Thus using your own friend as a shield. Now this method has to be done right or else it will fail. - If you are letting your mind wander a little bit and didnt really want to ask what the Range Combat Formula was, well here it is: Range/Defense/Hitpoints/Prayer/Summoning - Also if you want to hide your range lvl then use either one of these methods: Melee: Attack/Strength/Defense/Hitpoints/Prayer/Summoning Magic: Magic/Defense/Hitpoints/Prayer/Summoning Different Areas Noted for Same Effect: Taverly/Members Dungeon- (Lesser Demon Lvl 82) Drops are: Ok - First travel to Falador and go West (with lvl 5 Agility climb wall) then go NW until you see a large "!" and go down the ladder. Travel North and then follow the bend all the way east untill you see Lesser Demons behind some rocks. Those are the Lessers you are going to attack, but not just yet. Now travel a little South and then follow then bend back West while running threw Chaos Dwarfs. Now you will see the Lessers lair. To the East there is a Firepit. Stand to the closest spot to the wall but Diagonal from the Firepit. There you go now click on a Lesser and fire away. ---Caution Note--- If you have a low Defence Level then you should either have good prayer, or bring enough Lobs, Monks, or Sharks. Taverly/Members Dungeon- (Blue Dragon Lvl 111 / Baby Blue Dragon Lvl 48) Drops are : GOOD Firstly Items needed: Dusty Key (to open door to Dragons), Anti-Dragonfire Shield(if using a C'bow), and FOOD. Food isn't 100% needed, but if you get hit, you will get hit hard. --- To get to the Taverly/Members Dungeon (stated above) go to Falador and use agility to the West of the West bank on a "Crumbling Wall" (Lvl 5 Agility needed), and then travel NW just a tad until you see a "!" Go Down ladder and travel to the North then to the East until you come to Lesser Demons Lvl 82, then you will see a door to the west of the Lessers Lair. Go in but be precatious as their is Lvl 111 Blue Dragon in there. Once in the Blue Dragon Lair go to the North side, and use the cave rocks as your shield. The ones on the NORTH WESTERN side work the best for multiple targets. NOTE-- You might need to move around a bit because the baby blue dragons will atk you also SOMETIMES. Taverly/Members Dungeon- (Black Demons Lvl 172) Drops are : GREAT/RARE Firstly Item NEEDED: Dusty Key, FOOD. To get there go the same way as if your were to go to Blue and Baby Blue Dragons but keep going a little bit further down the dungeon halls (after Blue Dragons). You will see THREE fishing spots, there is a TORCH on a wall to the NORTH of the FAR WEST FISHING SPOT. (---THIS IS A SAFE SPOT----) When standing here and looking towards the Black Demon Lair tou will see a Black demon pacing the East wall of the lair. That Demon will be your TARGET. This Demon will get stuck in the path leading to the lair, and allowing you to gain XP and still get ALL of your AMMO back. When using this Spot try using a more populated world so that the Black Demon will respawn seconds after you kill it. ---On a Journey to Find More Places but Better Monsters--- ----- ANY TIPS OR ADVICE OR QUESTIONS DONT HESITATE !! !! !! ----- Ty again for all your sites help, Dwilder19 -Skiller for Life-
Draconic
Lanthas Ogres are outdated. THere are numerous other methods which give better exp and drops. When you go feather dragon god, you never go back.

Dwilder19
Yes King Luthas Orges are a little outdated, but that is the point. Less and less people are going to this spot. No, you wont recieve big money drops, but if you remember I said this is for XP, not for cash. If you are looking for cash this is NOT your method. Thanx didnt know exactly where it should have gone. Its not really a "guide" , just more of addition to the range guide already on-site, not in-forums. Draconic
. . . but if you remember I said this is for XP, not for cash . . . It's still worse EXP AND profit. When you go feather dragon god, you never go back.
Dwilder19
Explain yourself then instead of making remarks of opinion. Because if I remember correctly if your range lvl is equal to or it is below your by 10 then its great XP. Especially from Orges which have 50 hps. Think about it, let it settle in and then process the information. Dwilder19 -Skiller for Life-
Aslan
1.Accumulator has no use there, except for the +2 range bonus. 2.There are better spots for ogres(Blood Rune Tower for example, you need 47 thieving to pick-lock the door). 3.I'm going to give you an example of a better monster to range:Firegiant in the Chaos Tunnels, there is a room with a safespot, which if you cannot see then your mind is ____ed up.(You have 2 choices when it comes to filling in the gaps.) Danqazmlp
To above^ its the only cape with range bonus, so its to be used wether it will work or not. howbadisbad
i don't do ogres (the drops suck) i do aviansies, fire giants, and alot of the tasks i get for slayer so far the best range training tasks ive goten from summona (only 7 lolz) i'll rank them from better to worse for range training :) 1. fire giants - isn't it obvious? (twice) 2. mighty banshees- really nice drops and a great safespot with high hp and low def 3. trolls - not very good IMO 4. cave crawlers - okish drops but terrible xp (three times -.-) Hypocrite. You tell others to be nice then attempt to murder people. Nice going, you just failed life.
Crazykid1321
Outdated training methods, outdated equipment, glaring text, no pictures, horribly compiled and organized and no XP/Cash rates. and some parts don't any sense. ( e.g. - Unlimited Ranged XP?- isn't everywhere else unlimited Ranged XP?) (This is all coming from a non-chinner 99 Ranger.) Also, if it is already on the Tip.it guide, why post this? So far: Concept - 2/10; Execution - 3/10. Good Try, but unnecessary, confusing, and outdated.

Dwilder19
- To everyone else posting Orges are outdated, YES i know this, But if you would read further down there are Extremly Better Spots. The Orge Cage is just ONE SPOT. - Also I do understand that there are many, many spots that you can safely range from, but with the Accumulator and in a safe spot not directly behind an object (E.G Cave rocks,Rocks, Big Egg, Nest and the list continues) you will reagain 75% of your ammo instead of wasting money. Most people just stand behind anything and thinking that your Accumulator will get the Ammo, but that is wrong.

Anyways this thread is not completly done, but ty for all your NEGATIVE comments, as they will be helpfull to help me change the guide. I didn't completely bash it, I gave it a decent rate for a beginner's guide. I didn't insult you in anyway, but I can't find a way to really complement your guide. I also did recognize that you guide was a work-in-progress, hence the "So far:". Your guide can be improved, just write over the current methods you have. Yes - pretty much all the monsters in the Member's Dungeon are outdated (besides Blue Dragons). Consider looking into popular training methods - such as an in-depth guide with Yaks, Blue and Green Dragons, Aviansies, and etc. Or discover a method that nobody knows! Don't just copy a guide and add filler facts.

llamster
Most of your methods are outdated. The two best range training methods in the game are aviansies and chinning ape atoll.
