Rares likely to rise over time

Featured Replies

The best investment by far would be leaving it as a cash pile. It's value will NEVER decrease, and other items will decrease, meaning after a year, you will be able to buy more than you can now.

The "useless" rares such as phats etc the markets r dying year on year and as such aren't worth investment anymore

The "useful" rares will go down and down as supply increases and new items replace them. eg Whip was what like 10 - 20mil stable 2 or 3 yrs ago and look at it now, that will be godswords and third age and spirit shields in the coming years.

Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills ::  Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA Rewards

Dragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

hoping for phats to raise soon

Personally either keep the cash pile or put it on 3rd age offers in the GE. The smaller rares are stable right now so I don't see a rise. As for partyhats more people are turning to them to hold their cash and they will stable out and maybe rise in the next few months.

So keep the cash or put an offer on 3rd age.

I would say forget the investing and do common item simple merchanting. Takes a second to check, and if you're not greedy with how much you buy and sell, you'd make a nice little profit over the course of a year.

unless trade limit is removed phats will continue to drop as will most other rares (masks etc)

You'd be better off keeping your cash. Most expensive items have a tendency to gradually decrease in price, and since the advent of the GE rares have been feeling this as well. But, since the stuff you'd be buying with it is getting less expensive, your cash pile is essentially going to grow by staying the same--you'll be able to buy high-end items at lower prices in the future than you could buy them at now.
