Well i probably wont buy any other armour because it is one of the best pieces of armour there is, and its free. I have Guthans in my bank which i use to heal myself, i have ann the basic amulets and rings, whip and d boots, d legs and now i find myself left with 4.7mil. I dont have decent ranged gear, but i dont really Range much these days. Bandos is out of your price range (and too expensive for it's stats anyway) but you have Guthans which is the pinnacle of armour. For a start it's stats are not too different from the best defensive armour there is (Torags/Dharoks combi). Secondly, if you are slaying then it is more efficient to swap in only the helm/spear rather than 3 or 4 Guthans pieces to heal. You then have the added bonus of 2 extra inventory spaces. Even 2 uncut emeralds pay for the minimal usage of the helm/spear. Things you should have: Black Mask/Slayer Helm - 350k Fury - 3.1mil Dragon Boots - 250k Whip - 1.5mil Rune Defender - Free Barrows Gloves - Can't remember price, 200k I think but you need a lot of quests. Warrior Ring - 300k (for training with whip/other slash weapons) Ring of Wealth - 40k (for all other tasks) Obby Cape - Dunno price, will be cheap. Things which would be nice, but not essential: Berserker Ring - 3mil. Adds to strength but only minimally, so minimally infact it doesn't always have an effect. Fire Cape - Freeish - Best cape in the game. 99 Cape/Trimmed Cape Freeish - Pretty much the same (trimmed has +2 prayer) but 2nd best capes in game. As an fyi, Black Mask is a LOT more than 350k now, its up at 600-650k. You have to have a black mask to put together the slayer helm, so you'd be better off getting one now to make those 6 tasks go faster, unless of course you don't plan on slaying at all. You are better off using Proselyte (or initiate if you don't have Pros) and praying +10% str. You will get better results that way than you would with a Torso. On another note, to get a slayer helm you will need a black mask in the first place as it is the main "ingredient" to create a slayer helm. And even if you only were doing 10 slayer tasks for the rest of your RS career, nothing compares to the black mask on slayer task's and the resell-ability of the black mask is such that you wouldn't lose any money when you finished your 10 tasks. The highest defense in the game, and it is 10m cheaper then a bandos plate. Atm, bandos is a waste of cash, that will probably be 1m in a year or two. Sell your dragon platelegs and use Guthan's chainskirt, or buy Dharok's platelegs for the extra 10 def and swap when neccisary. The best range gear is void which isn't buyable. If you want to buy gear buy a fury, warriors ring, archers ring, and then either some ahrims and other mage gear (if you never use magein combat) or spend the remainder it on your favorite skills. quit Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You do realize that, to make a slayer helmet, you'll need a black mask anyway...? Slayer helmet is made by combining all the slayer headgear into one, that includes the black mask.
