What's the better weapon;

 

 

 

Zamorak spear,

 

Saradomin sword,

 

or Saradomin godsword for use at waterfiends?

For me the best weapon is zamorak spear, accurate and cheap :

I had a SGS and used there, the spec is very useful but GS is very slow :wall:

Those are bedman's rates. Look him up if you want his stats, he used void.

Sara sword is probably better unless you have a low attack level. It's only like a 1-2% difference at best though.

Z spear and sara sword are the same in exp per hour, it all boils down to if you want strength or controlled exp. SGS should only be used for specs

I prefer the sara sword over the Zammy spear.. That may just be me though.. :oops:

I'd say zamorak spear for high melees [90+] (hitting high a bunch of times) and godsword for low melees

Spear has the fastest charm rates. The SGS special is good, but all it does is allow you to stay down there longer, which isn't a big deal since it's so easy to access anyway. So only use SGS if you use it as a special weapon, then switch back to your Zamorakian Spear (49m for special, eh?).

I play pretty relaxed so I don't have any scientific numbers to back me up, but I've found that the Zammy Spear and any godsword are roughly equal in charms per hour, and a Sara Sword gives me around 7 more per hour.

 

 

 

I've gotten just about 7k charms there since the end of January, and my setup has been to take the Sara Sword to fight and also take the Enhanced Excalibur for the special.

 

 

 

Even if you do go with the Zammy Spear, remember to take Excalibur. Those extra 20hp have gotten me through many dry patches when the Waterfiends were holding out on me with the fish drops.
