archimage_a
If you get your farming up then magically if you have grown a magic tree its your own personal one. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. E_D_G_E_1039
Does the Woodcutting guild just for members..? And... Should it be same numbers for Yews & Mage Trees .. and so on, non-members can cut trees in fair.. You speak of it as if its a real thing :D I'd say it wouldnt be f2p, since Jagex wouldnt put magics in f2p, and most likely wouldnt update f2p. You all say "Make it 75 to keep the noobs out"... Do you all know how insanely easy it is to get 75 woodcut, too?
kbower
i agree with everyone else in favour of the woodutters guild. It seems like a great idea but not a bank maybe just a deposit box. I think it should be some where in the range of 67-75 because and to support this. I was woodcutting one day for about 1.5 hours and I got like 25 levels and in 4 hours i was up to about 47!i!i! I admit it was pretty kool going up that quick but i mean really 60 no way!!! it is too easy to rocket up that easily then just go to a guild where theres a bank waiting for you and then also to make hundreds and millions if there is a woodcutting program. If it does happen consider this, why let someone else be able to make millions in a day with a auto cutter? and them banking real quick when you have to click click click? mor1a
if it would be p2p you can make the guild for people with woodcutting 75+ AND for example fletching 65+. then their couldn't be any wc pure come in and it's reasonable for everyone. bob12
make it 67 like the fishing guild, or is it 68? :?
Frankyboi
i think the following: - 75/80 woodcut to enter forest area - a treehouse where the bank is but 75/80 fletching is required to enter the house -place it above grubbers woods so the woodcutters will stay at seers and the guild will only be good for 75/80+ fletchers - a quest to enter
Infi
I think that there should be a woodcutting guild Level Needed to Enter: 60 Woodcutting There will Be a Bank on the Bottom Floor and on the main floor it is sort of like a forest Trees: 20 (or more) Normal Trees 20 Oak Trees 15 Willow Trees 30 Maple Trees 30 Magic Trees - Other Stuff: Axe Shop - Sells Woodcutting Axes Bronze Axe - 3gp Iron Axe - 50gp Steel Axe - 150gp Black Axe - 400gp Mith Axe - 700gp Addy Axe - 3k Rune Axe - 20k WC'ers have dragon wc axe. Miners don't. Keep it at that 99 Hits, Attack, Strength, Defence, Mage, Summoning, Slayer, Ranged, 96/99 Prayer

Luke
Ok, 1-2k people on a world, most people have, or can easily get, 60 woodcutting. It would be packed out all the time and people would just go back to the old trees. De_Pk - Level 117 - Banned September 30th '06.
Toxicologist
The problem with a Woodcutting Guild is that it should be very big (like someone said before, a restricted forest), as you don't see a bunch of wierd people standing around in a building hacking away at trees. So the problem: Where do you find such a big land to create a WC Guild in? Why do you resist? zonda
I don't think this is really nessesary. Almost every kind of tree there is, theres usually a large patch located next to a bank. Draynor, seers, tree gnome, ect. ...
Toxicologist
Actually, I just got an idea: Make an extension to Zanaris: A large forest completely composed of Magic Trees. It is a restricted forest which requires a certain woodcutting level to enter. There's your Woodcutting Guild. Why do you resist? My experiments are only helping humanity push the boundaries of the Art of Toxicology... you should be proud to be one of my victims. ~Toxicologist~
Biabf
Bank yes, tons of magic and yew trees like 20 or 30 of each and you HAVE to be like 85 to enter....
p0nd3r4
Best idea ever! Seriously. I'm 78 wc, and I don't cut yews anymore cuz, as mentioned, 60 woodcutting is ridiculously easy to get, so there will be like 10 people on 1 tree. A reward for dedicated wcers would be much appreciated I think, 80+ makes sense. I'd have to work a bit to get in, but at least I would be around only other dedicated wcers, and not noobs :-)
sjefderat
Make a woodcutting guild, good idea. Get autoers out of there, also easy. Just provide some spots to plant ur own private trees, all kinds 2 spots. Some serious farming needed (no problem for serious woodcutters who get all these exp rich tree seeds). To make sure it is a real woodcutters guild, i agree 80+ woodcutting needed. Yep, no bank needed, deposit box wood be plenty. :) Selling axes, ok, but mith and up, whos gonna buy or sell anything lower in there. Add a quest that requires at least 100+ qp and ur totally safe of autoers... Actually, make the trees plantable only once, to avoid misuse by high lvl farmers, they get enough exp per day already. I am ze skiller, not ze killer 1500+ total, 90 combat. 2100+ total 3rd best skiller ever at 99 combat (maybe the best, highest total below 100 cb)99 Cook 99 Fletch 99 Woodcut 99 Firemaking 99 Range 99 Mage 99 Thief 99 Fish 99 Agility 99 Mining 99 Runecrafting 99 Hp 99 Slayer 99 Smith 99 Hunt 99 Construction 99 Craft 99 Farming
someone_els
30 magic and yew trees? Prices would plummet... And I dont think woodcutting axes should ever be sold in a shop, unless pickaxes become smithable. (and by the way, dragon woodcutting axes chop at the same speed as rune axes.) bantam222
oh, you could "send your logs down the river" and then you could pick them up at the bank lol.. idk that just poped into my head so i thought i would post it  RSN: Bantam222 [105 combat] [1578 total level]Support my quest for 1600 Skill Total! hazardmaster
Don't you see? It's so pointless. Look at all of Runescape. See those green splats? They're trees. Woodcutting is meant for all of Runescape. Making a guild for one good area of woodcutting would mess up the whole Runescape.
Lord_Muijs
woodcutting is already one of the easiest skills. we dont need to make it even more easy.
p0nd3r4
woodcutting is already one of the easiest skills. we dont need to make it even more easy. It's easy at low levels, magics and yews aren't easy. That's why it'd be 80+ anyway... you think that's easy to get?
