August 15, 200520 yr I *hate* the direction taken with lego roughly since 1999, which is when the commercial tie-ins began. It has really lost it's appeal to me, the way it used to stimulate you to experiment with your own constructions. Same here. I used to love playing lego when I had no computer or console. The sets I bought (1993-1998) were really good and imaginitive and LOVE making my own models. My imagination went wild of the things I could make. I would of got all the sets of lego then if my mum and dad weren't poor (not poor as begging, but enough money from my dads job to keep us going). My addiction for lego sets then is just the same as my addiction of RuneScape now. The most wanted lego (technic) set I always wanted is the VX4 super car (Daytona), but now I have a lot of money from my own job, I can now buy most sets I always wanted, but they have all gone off the market. :( The lego sets now have changed completely, most sets not looking like lego at all. No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.

August 15, 200520 yr One of the greatest thins would be for lego to re-release all these old sets in a new "classic" edition, if those lego people want money this would be the best thing to do.

Whenever i got a new set, i would keep working on it until midnight or until the early mornings. I remember on christmas eve, i got a lego technic set, the one with the destroyer droid or whatever it's called from star wars. I started building it at 11:00 pm til 1-2 in the morning. Ya, i really liked those star wars technic sets. I still have em, but i took em apart and now im too lazy to rebuild it and put em on display again lol. Besides, i grown out of it, but i still do build small models such as pencil holders, hangers, magnetic hangers, etc. once in a while. Sup noobs.
