Players who play quests after the year changes would basically be going back in time. Although a quest that led into mechscape would be the most epic transitional story line ever... Like, if they ever do come out with mechscape, make it for like the elites only, you have to finish the TRUE grandmaster quest, get like frozen in ice for 20348 years and then appear in mechscape. I imagine it involving something like a big festival to celebrate a new year. It could turn out fabulous, But the only problem i see is when to move from 170 to 171. So err... isn't it a bit early for a thread like this? Also why would advancing a year in RS history be such a big deal. It's not like it's going to make a huge difference for the players.
