Those bottles have always been on the ground since RS2 was released. I remember them quite clearly, as I was F2P for a while once RS2 was released, and that is where the Rune Plates were sold in world 1.

You really didn't need to create a topic for this. Before posting, please ask yourself if your topic has discussion value. Since this really doesn't, you shouldn't have posted it. Alternatively, you can make a "random RuneScape facts" topic, with all sorts of random information... but a topic dedicated to a few bottles on the ground, we don't need.

just to confirm... the bottles were always there since even the first days i joined years ago to what people consider the "good" days of RS2. However, maybe because of the graphical updates, but i dont remember they never actually looked like bottles, but more like rocks of some sort. oh well... they are there to portray that varrock is a city.

back when dinosaurs were around, there used to be people too. These players in those dark pre-ge days, would gather in world 1 or 2. Fally and varrock. To buy and sell mass amounts of goods.

 

 

 

Certain players would gather in groups in certain areas to sell certain things. Those areas became hot spots to buy certain items. Like the rare merchents in Fally park.

 

 

 

Those bottles marked the spot where people would sell rune plates.

Aww those were the days.... I'm not sure why i liked them so much, GE is so much faster and fairer...
