Personally, I think Jagex should forget about emotes and do something worthwhile, but I doubt they will, so sure, bring the old ones back. Heck, it make the people that made the new ones mad... I think they will since I think they care about their players, but when a new player starts out, he'll have the new emotes (if Jagex do the spellbook-like concept).

The new dance emote doesn't work.. nobody gives me phr33 munnyz anymore...

 

While this isn't really needed, I'd still like to see it happening.

And the old goblin salute, it was WAY better than the new emote which doesn't even match its picture! :shock:

Its true, the Goblin Salute no longer looks like its icon, nor does the Dance really (It kinda does, but not as much as the previous one).

Old dance sorta looked like you were trying to kick someone.

Right-clicking for the old emote sounds much easier than going all the way to Party Pete's for emote changes.

I love old emotes. :( I support! And the first one would be better, but both are great ideas.

i agree. the new laugh is to girly. boys fear to press the button :ohnoes: it makes them look girly. they should also have boy and girl emotes, to make each fit the gender of the person doing the emote. also the encanced dance from flares isn't right. i sold my flares after it got changed :|

Ironically, the old emotes are still in some of the early quests...In ghosts ahoy, which I just recently did, the old crone uses the old dance emote to enchant the amulet of ghostspeak. So it probably wouldn't be too hard. And well worth it.

 

Instead of old, however, how about "retro"? Sounds a lot better tbh.

I noticed that too, I did a few months ago and it gave me proof that Jagex still have the old emotes somewhere.
