April 27, 200917 yr Good theory, I disagree with the elf line being one of the most interesting however. I would rank the mahjarrat, slug, and dwarven above the elven. Possibly even a couple others which evade my mind at the moment. The elven line was just a bit boring to me. But in terms of size, it is certainly the biggest quest chain of them. Mahjarrat have been a bunch of quest unrelated to each other except for the involvement of Mahjarrat, and WGS was a stand alone quest requiring the completion of all other quests, or everyone one released at the time. You could, maybe slightly, call it a sequel to Temple of Ikov. This website and its contents are copyright © 1999 - 2010 Jagex Ltd.
April 27, 200917 yr Awesome read  I thought I had a pretty good grasp on the whole elf storyline but alot of that was news to me, or I had just simply forgot. Im loving the ideas about Seren and the nine seals but I get the feeling its gonna be several quests down the line as we havent even managed to get through the front door of Priffandis yet. Unforunately though I get the feeling there wont be a great many elf quests in future, we may get one or two, but I personally dont think enough people have done ME Pt2 for jagex to consider putting alot of time in making sequels. Hopefully though they'll make a sequel to Regicide or Rolving elves, that way more people could get the benefits and they could justify spending more time on it. Theres a fine line between not listening and not caring,I like to think I walk this line every day. Pinning blame on Jagex is like trying to put pants on an old man. You both know he needs them, but he'll just keep dancing around, avoiding them at all costs.
April 27, 200917 yr Very nice read Hippodo, your knowledge never ceases to amaze me. The idea behind the seals makes sense - up until you talk about the 9th lock. It does not make sense that Seren would open the Library, like ever. She already ahs the knowledge and it was lcoked to prevent her elves knowing it. It is unlikely it will ever be opened in this way. Prehaps the Iowerth clan breaks the other 8 seals and then destroys the 9th with brute force seems more applicable, prehaps channeling runestone power (the soul altar could be within the elf lands), or allying with Lucien who uses the stone of Jas/Staff of Amradyl to break it (this would be much further down the storyline, where quest lines start to merge) I apologize for setting yet another theory of the Soul Altar, but it's the only thing I could think of.

Nobody knows for sure, but I don't think Seren locked the Library to prevent the Elves from entering. Why else would she have built it anyway? The Library is here for the Elves to use, but only for benign purposes. Maybe she locked it because there wasn't any real reason to keep it open after she departed. And she made the seals (instead of just destroying it) in case a situation would occur in which the knowledge the Library possesses is vital. In this case, an evil cult which wants to ressurect Zamorak... Due to my epic stats, I have now started WGS (but I still hate spoilers).
April 27, 200917 yr I think you're right. That seems like a very reasonable theory to me, but we'll have to wait and see. ~It's Super Effective! (The Zaaps Blog)~My YouTube Channel, where you get to watch me go around and make a fool out of myself and all comp capersGuides:~Yeah I wrote them once~Suggestions:~Yeah I made those once~
April 27, 200917 yr I don't think that one clan could have reasonably forced out all the others (even if one was away at the time). 1 vs 6 is still pretty long odds. Of course, they did manage to take power... I don't think they kicked the other clans out though - Llyeta is a good deal smaller than Priffindas lol. Perhaps it was founded by the elves most strongly motivated to fight back instead of submit. The seal theory and everything else seems logical. Shame jagex said the conclusion of this storyline is something that they will 'get around to when they have the resources necessary to make it as good as it deserves to be' aka not for a long time. :
April 28, 200917 yr It's certainly possible a larger population of the elves are located elsewhere, and have not (from a storyline perspective) yet been discovered by us. As far as outnumbering - it did come as a surprise to the others (or that's how I take it), and so they had the element of surprise on their side. I doubt it went down Iowerth vs. the others in a brawl. Knowing the elves, I'm sure some elven ingenuity went in to a clever scheme to gain control of ol' Prifddinas. Whatever it is, it's our hero's call to duty... someday... in the most likely distant future ( :( )...
April 28, 200917 yr Well, judgeing by preportions, I wouldn't say there are any more then 200, if less, npcs who live in cities. I mean, falador has ther biggest place for people to live. How many people do we see living around cities? None. If anything, the game needs scripted NPCs around towns to make them more life like. If you are on a world with under 200 people, most places are DEAD Runescape player since 2005 Ego Sum Deus Quo Malum Caligo et Barathum
April 28, 200917 yr I used to be in love with the storyline because I remember playing the quests when they first came out, but the storyline progressed way too slow, and since I've pretty much lost interest in them and quests in general. All are pretty much the same only with different skills to do the same thing and different characters saying the same puns.
April 28, 200917 yr Author I used to be in love with the storyline because I remember playing the quests when they first came out, but the storyline progressed way too slow, and since I've pretty much lost interest in them and quests in general. All are pretty much the same only with different skills to do the same thing and different characters saying the same puns. I disagree with you there. The various actions possible in a quest are limited because this is a video game, but in my opinion there still is a lot variation. I think the Myreque storyline for example is a lot different to the Troll Quests or the Gnome storyline. Due to my epic stats, I have now started WGS (but I still hate spoilers).
