April 30, 200917 yr Ok, so right now I am doing evil tree twice a day, and cutting willows at barbarian outpost. I have a few questions: One, what is the chance of getting a raven egg with/without the evil tree bonus? Two, what is the chance of getting a raven egg from an Evil tree? Three, is there a different chance of getting one from a different kind of tree than the one I am chopping? I know it is rare egg, but I am willing to put some effort into it.
April 30, 200917 yr Your chances are slimmer now because you're over 50 Summoning. It's a totally random and rare egg, so I wouldn't count on getting it anytime in the near future. My friend has 50 summoning and he's been trying for a raven egg for about 10 Woodcutting levels now, so your chances aren't much better. It's all a matter of luck, but with every Summoning level, your chances go down I believe. April 30, 200917 yr Ive got 2 raven eggs and 2 bird eggs sat in my bank till i can get the summoning lvl. I would of rather seen a seed. That was goin from 60 wc to 81 in 3 weeks.

Certainly, it's much more difficult to obtain a Raven's Egg from a nest than any of the God Eggs, but if you've achieved 99 Woodcutting in the process then you should have gotten at least a couple. Personally, when I chopped willows at the Barbarian Outpost from 88-99 Woodcutting last summer, I received four of them. To NicolaiNick: The likelihood of receiving a Raven's Egg from an Evil Tree nest is close to 0%, although Evil Trees are great for Woodcutting experience--if that's something you're after as well. If you want a Raven's Egg though, I'd suggest cutting willows while wielding a Strung Rabbit Foot. I believe the general nest drop-rate is practically the same for every type of tree, but willows are preferable since you'll be able to cut them much more quickly than maples and above. Willow trees also yield more logs on average than oaks and are--for the most part--more conveniently located (Barbarian outpost, Draynor, and Seers' Village come to mind). With the Strung Rabbit Foot you should at least be able to get a nest every other invent, so it'll only be a matter of time if you commit to your goal. April 30, 200917 yr wow i got 1 off the barbarian outpost willows so i guess i just got very lucky but i was wearing a rabbit foot so idk if that helps any now i just need to get my summoning level up so i can use
April 30, 200917 yr On my first day of serious woodcutting, I got a raven egg as well as a guthix egg, and a total of 14 nests, at ape atoll teaks. The following day I forgot to equip my greegree, was killed by the monkey archers and lost my raven chick. :cry: quit

May 1, 200917 yr Yeah I have a raven egg from willows at Barb Assualt. Never realised they were that rare. If it was tradable you could have it, as pets are a bit lame. Trust the Gene Genie!
