But grimy Kwuarms at med, clean them and sell at med. You make 17.7gp per exp, even though it may be a little slow. May 4, 200917 yr Herblore has never been cheap, Kingjoe seems to know more than I do but I'd recommend simply making some money, then making potions such as prayer pots. You will level very quickly, and although it may cost you can make the money elsewhere. :)
May 4, 200917 yr I got 70 herblore over 3 years ago when you could actually make money by buying unid herbs, making potions and selling. I've only gained one level since then and that is entirely just cleaning herbs on slayer assignments :) If i ever chose to get it up to 80, i would do it by cleaning herbs - it's just too much money now a days Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig!
May 4, 200917 yr my way of herbloring: (makes around 200gp/round) buy GRIMY ranarr at med price-50-100 above market price, check the graphs to be sure. clean the load of them... put em in vial of water (buy the vial you still get 200gp) and sell the unfinished pots. the pots will sell in anything from right away - 15 mins. from level 54-99 you'd make aprox 30 million. have fun herbloring!

May 5, 200917 yr i level herblore with farming. it is really the only way to make some sort of profit, granted it is fairly slow. kwuarm seeds = ~4k each ~6 super strengths per = 18k buy or grow limps, your choice. 99 Fishing
May 5, 200917 yr Cleaning grimy herbs is the only way to make money using herblore only. It is VERY slow and CTS sensitive. I farm herbs, and buy/gather seconds. snape grass for example, I get at the hobgoblin peninsula + t-bird., killing hobgoblins for limps. Red spiders eggs I get from summoning + scrolls, while alching to regenerate special bar. I buy mort myre fungi, because I find gathering them too slow/annoying. Same for dragon scales. I get a load of potato cacti every time I have a kaphite task, just before I leave. I farm cactus spines and kep bird nests from MTK mainly. All in all, not the fastest, nor cheapest xp, but it keeps me from boredom and/or grinding. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked...
May 5, 200917 yr Herb is one of those skills where there is only really two ways to train it. Fast and expensive. Slow and cheap. If you have 150m to drop on it, you can have a cape in 7 days. Otherwise its going to take you 25 years to clean all them herbs.
May 5, 200917 yr I usually just farm the highest level herb I can both farm and make into a potion. You can make money off any potion this way, except for quest potions or other untradable potions.
May 5, 200917 yr i train it with combat so its a slow method but i like my small amount of money and would rather not lose it. e.g. make 100 prayer pots go avainses - recoup losses in a few hours using around 30 of em (if that) make profit witht he rest of em buy more mats for herblore repeat slow but it earns money and i always liked the 'use what you make' style this game can have with certain skills. yep thats f2p..just waiting for my membership to expire
