:? I attempted to make this post... but the forums wouldnt let me at the time... back when it was going funny.

Anyways your school is a beast  , glad mine is soo easy to get around, its in the shape of a "u"

Your schedual is... erm odd. Mine just gives me time slots and which teacher, which class, and where they are.

My first semester is:

-7:45-8:30am Repertoire music (On my schedual it says its after school but its actuly before. I have this class all year, and i go 3 times a week. I get an extra credit, but its more of just a band.)

-8:40-9:55am Science, Academic (Im extreamly happy cause i wanted this class first ^.^)

-10:05-11:20am English,Academic

-12:20-1:35pm Civics

-1:45-3:00pm instrumental music.

Thats my first semester only, my second semester is odd, but i like my first one.

He he im glad that unlike many others i only have 4 classes for halve the school year, well others have 8 all year. Less homework for me!

The upcoming semester:

- CISY 1113: Principles of Program Structure and Design

- CISY 1212: Systems Analysis and Design

- COOP 1101: Job Search Techniques

- CMNS 1103: Intro to Computer Programming (C/C++)

The School of Business faculty (which is responsible for the Computer Information Systems [CISY] program) did not have a C++ course (CISY2311) available this semester, and I NEED it to complete my first year and be eligible for an internship placement next summer. So I registered for the Computer Science [CMNS] course which is VERY similar in content, but belongs to an entirely different faculty. I also had to file a Course Substitution Form (different faculties = huge processing time, and I haven't got a response yet). If it's rejected I'll have to cancel the CMNS course (and probably miss my internship).

I'm going to college, and we don't confirm our classes until orientation in a week, but my tentative schedule is:

a Language (linguistics) seminar

Psychological Science seminar

Behavioural Neurobiology, intro class

Psychohistory of the Modern World

Principles of Chemistry, honors intro class

I'll probably drop one of them, I don't want to overload by taking five classes first semester - most people take four :)

Everybody hug and spread the love :D

Is Freshman hadest or easiest? Well, from an academic perspective, that depends how much of the subject you knew before you start.

Freshman year usually introduces new material at a somewhat accelerated pace (to quickly get past the basics). If you start a completely new subject, you WILL find it very pressuring. But if you already knew stuff about what you start (like my computer program, I started the intro to computers but I used comps for 8 years...), then it will be easy (definitely easier than later stages).

Of course, there is also the social and psychological factor of entering into a completely new environment with different standards and attitudes.

First term I have:

World History

AP Economy

AP English

AP Calculus

Web-Design

AP Physics

World History is gonna be a breeze, I only have it because of a scheduling conflict my sophomore year didn't allow me to have it then.

I'm seriously hoping that web-design will be theory-based and not just useless busywork in random Adobe programs that I'll never use again..

Next term I have all the same but World History and Web-Design. In their place I'll have gym (ugh..) and something else, dunno what. Third term I have all the AP courses I have now except for Econ, which will be replaced by Philosophy. If I don't have anymore required classes, I'll probably just have nothing, take it easy..

Oh, you starting High School or you switched to a new one?

My sched is for like the first 2 weeks of school and for different random days through the year which is less than about 2 weeks in total. So we only get 1 whole month of scheduled classes. We get to go on any department whenever we want, except those that you need signatures with. I love it now :P

I got Sci, Math, Can. History, English, Religion, Gym, BBI (Business course), TIK (IT course), and Visual Arts. BBI, TIK and Visual arts are my electives.
