I can't buy mithril ore or coal at max price right now, yet when I was training my smithing last month I could buy them both at market price.... May 14, 200917 yr It seems that the number of price manipulators and merchanting clans have nearly doubled. I cant wait till an update that helps reduce their effectiveness.

I'm not really looking forward to what they might do to stop it though. I could see them reducing how many items can be bought every 4 hours.... This would effectively terminate the armor/weapon merchanting market. The skilling market would be much harder to hammer down... possibly a longer than 4 hour ban on reselling items?

Even raising it to more than 4 hours wouldn't do anything. May 14, 200917 yr Im shocked you arnt able to buy coal for max. But mith not shocked at all there is not that many people that mine it to sell, most people mine it for themselve to use. It has a really low value for the time it takes to get. (even at 90 minning mith is slow to get) http://www.clanhavok.net/

It has a really low value for the time it takes to get. (even at 90 minning mith is slow to get) I trained smithing from 63 to 69 by buying my mith and coal. Had no problem getting either. I can see mith having a lower supply than coal, but it was still readily available. And I honestly can't see why coal would be bought out by Merching Clans, there is simply too much of it, and too high a supply. (Think F2P rather than P2P) And i'm fairly sure you're limited to 10k/hr or something anyway? That said, you if you actually can't buy coal, try putting in offers for max, or go to the mining guild in an F2P world, and ask people how much coal they have in their banks and buy it without going through the GE?
