May 19, 200917 yr What monster do you think is most efficient in killing for level 3 clues with my stats? By efficient mean fast and not expensive :D By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest. - Confucius
May 19, 200917 yr I like killing aberrant specters for clues because even if you don't get one, or get a bad one, you still profit from the herbs, black mystic bottoms, and rune full helms. Aside from that, I love killing waterfiends for them because you get a profit from their drops, great crimson charms, and I always come back from them with a clue. (Seriously, I don't remember ever going to them and not getting one.) 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. May 19, 200917 yr I would say Jellies definatly. I normally average 2 or 3 per slayer task when i get them. Current Goal
May 19, 200917 yr Greater demons drop some crimson charms + rune full helms so they are good too Hellhounds are becoming more and more of a hated monster so don't go there (they hit hard too) Definitely aberrant spectres and in abby demons

May 21, 200917 yr Turoths are often overlooked as good charm droppers, so if you want to range; there's an option equal to jellies. Thanks to Uno for the awsome sig <3

May 21, 200917 yr I would do abby specs with prayer pots. Even if your clue is a crap reward, you still end up with 100-200k profit. If you take a BoB familiar, you will be able to hold even more herbs.
May 21, 200917 yr I did a Slayer Task of Elves the other day. I got a lot of good seeds such a Snapdragon. Level 3 clues (which i got a Rune [t] plate, Zamorak Page 1, rune, food, rune sword and a pickaxe) are quite common and they drop all Charms. Problem is getting there. They are at the Elven Camp or Lleyta which is way West of Ardougne. 99 Fishing | 99 Cooking | 99 Woodcutting | | 99 Herblore | 99 Prayer | | 99 Runecrafting | 99 Fletching | 99 Hitpoints | 99 Range |Youtube: AnthonyOnRS.

Were you killing the melee elves, because for my slay task I kill the ranger on the second floor (Closer to the altar, I just prossy and protect range) and I can't remember ever getting a clue there. http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/ww6/aspeeder/Siggy_zpsewaiux2t.png 99 Strength since 6/02/10 99 Attack since 9/19/10 99 Constitution since 10/03/10 99 Defense since 3/14/11 99 Slayer since 8/30/11 99 Summoning since 9/10/11 99 Ranged since 09/18/11 99 Magic since 11/12/11 99 Prayer since 11/15/11 99 Herblore since 3/29/12 99 Firemaking since 5/15/12 99 Smithing since 10/04/12 99 Crafting since 9/16/13 99 Agility since 9/23/13 99 Dungeoneering since 1/1/14 99 Fishing since 2/4/14 99 Mining since 2/28/14 99 Farming since 6/04/14 99 Cooking since 6/11/14 99 Runecrafting since 10/10/14 9 Fletching since 11/11/14 99 Thieving since 11/14/14 99 Woodcutting since 11/20/14 99 Construction since 12/03/14 99 Divination since 2/22/15 99 Hunter since 2/23/15 99 Invention since 01/20/17 99 Archaeology since 5/14/22 99 Necromancy since 11/22/25 Quest Point Cape since 08/20/09 Maxed since 2/23/15 Fire Cape since 02/27/13 Slayer: 3 Leaf-Bladed Swords, 8 Black Masks, 2 Hexcrests, 26 Granite Mauls, 5 Focus Sights, 33 Abyssal Whips, 9 Dark Bows, 1 Whip Vine, 3 Staffs of Light, 15 Polypore Sticks Dragon: 10 Draconic Visages, 7 Shield Left Halves, 20 Dragon Boots, 40 Dragon Med Helms, 8 Dragon Platelegs, 6 Dragon Spears, 20 Dragon Daggers, 5 Dragon Plateskirts, 1 Dragon Chainbody, 63 Off-hand Dragon Throwing Axes, 19 Dragon Longswords, 27 Dragon Maces, 1 Dragon Ward Treasure Trails: Saradomin Full Helm, Ranger Boots, Rune Body (t), Saradomin Vambraces, Various God Pages Misc:1 Onyx,1 Ahrim's Hood, 1 Guthan's Chainskirt, 1 Demon Slayer Boots

An inventory of food and a couple of bunyips will last me an entire slayer task. But I can never stay that long because I get several clues. Alot of people don't like hellhounds, but they really are not bad at all. http://sign.tip.it/1/6/24/304/lady_scm.png Drops/Clue Finds:Shield left half: 1,Dragon plateskirt: 1, Warrior's Helm: 1, Obsidian Cape: 1, Robin Hood Hat: 1, Dragon Platelegs: 1, Dragon Boots: 4, Amulet of Ranging: 1

May 21, 200917 yr I'm not 100% sure Duradel does. However, I'm certain that the Fairy ones does. But honestly, they are a pain in the neck to do at times, and take awhile. Though I suppose with the Slayer Points system now, its better to just do them. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198

July 4, 200917 yr The three best monsters i find that drop clues are Aberrant Specters, Greater Demons and Hellhounds. They all have pro's and con's, but they are usually little problem. Greater Demons have the Con of Wild Dogs which are good if you have Guthans to heal on thus you could stay down forever. Hellhounds hit hard and if not hard quite often, you can easily get rid of this by safe-spot ranging or a halberd and Aberrant you need a nosepeg and for better effect prayer potions for protect from magic. But you can usually make it back from the amount of Ranarr's they drop. 99 Fishing | 99 Cooking | 99 Woodcutting | | 99 Herblore | 99 Prayer | | 99 Runecrafting | 99 Fletching | 99 Hitpoints | 99 Range |Youtube: AnthonyOnRS.
