[/b] I was thinking about this when I was reading about RuneRaiders their closure. I was wondering which clan would have the most effect on the clan world if they closed. A few years ago when DarkSlayers closed the clan world was in shock, would any current (top) clan have that same kind of effect now? Note: This is not a topic to discuss which clan you want to see closed, it's a topic that discusses the effect of the closure of a clan on the clan world. VR popped to my head when I saw that question, most of the clan world will probably rejoice and warring may be a little bit more fair in the future. If VR closed, the clan world would be a much easier-to-war place. However, if DI closed, the top of the P2P clan food chain would be open for grabs. TT won the Jagex cup, but they never post victory posts, so it's a lot harder to judge their activity. No one clan is dominant today, so not much different, people would migrate to different clans while 40% retire. DF and VR DF: They are probably the most popular clan in Clan World and they are so succesful. VR: They crash alot of Pvp wars, and if they did close, it would be more peaceful. I would say DI because they are a top clan in both F2P and P2P. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. The clan that would cause the major impact if they close would definetly be Divine Forces, not only they the top f2p clan, and one of the biggest and most powerful, but they been around since ages, it would cause a total shock,and alot of their loyal members wouldnt even join another clan, the clan world would lose alot of its best warriors,and definetly , it would be sad to see such a legacy end. I don't agree with that for a few reasons. 1) Not all VR members would go to the DK/ZH alliance, as many of them would not be happy to be restricted solely to crashing. 2) Vr has been around for a while as well, competitive for # 1, and have hundreds of good warrers. I agree that DF closing would have a huge impact, but I still think VR would have more. I have to disagree. Just think of VR as your Personal Computer and DK/ZH as a Mac. If the PC/VR dies, the world wouldn't care because we still have Macs. Does that sound true?
