1333337 Posted May 31, 2009 Share Posted May 31, 2009 The title says it all My training set-up Helmet of neitiznot Ammy of strength/fury Torag Platebody Torag Platelegs Dragon Boots RFD Rune gloves Berserker Ring Obby Cape Would it be wise to get a Saradomin Sword or Dragon Scimitar with a Rune Defender for training at Bandos Throne Room and Ankous? Dax Posted May 31, 2009 Share Posted May 31, 2009 Amulet of Strength is the saddest amulet I have ever seen, you sacrafice all those bonuses for what, 2? extra strength bonus. Fury all the way. z0diark Posted May 31, 2009 Share Posted May 31, 2009 The sara sword does give faster exp than the dragon scimitar and so should be used unless the monster you're killing is hitting you alot and you need the defence bonus of a shield. Berzerker ring is very good for the price and should be used in almost all cases in my opinion. As the others say, you should really upgrade your amulet of strength to a fury as the extra prayer/atack/defence bonuses are well worth the price. Zaaps1 Posted May 31, 2009 Share Posted May 31, 2009 None of the above. Use Obby sword + zerker necklace. That combo beats d scimmy AND saradomin sword in terms of xp. Plus it's under 1m. Only drawback is that you really need a decent attack level. I'd say yours is below optimal, but still borderline. So if the monster you're fighting is weak w/ low defense (or if you are using a low-level slayer master), then use the zerker combo. If not, SS is better xp than D scimmy, but it's up to you whether the cost is worth it. ~It's Super Effective!
