I just got a notice from my divisional director at work that if we don't start showing a 30 minute lunch break on our time cards, they'll start deducting it from our pay. I guess they're finally serious about it. :( Personally I don't like stopping just to eat. I spend half my day driving, so I just eat in between jobs. Oh well, more time to spend browsing the forums. :thumbup:

Gas station maintenance. I install/maintain pumps and all related control and safety equipment, so I spend all day going from site to site. After all, it's not like they can bring the broken equipment to me. :lol:

 

I'm also the senior technician in our division (and angling for a promotion :pray: ) so some days I'm lucky and spend half the day in the office sorting through backlogged calls and parts that were either incorrect when we received them or were just plain not ordered (our dispatch/parts guy isn't the swiftest boat in the current <_< ). Other days I'm not so lucky and a lot of that time is spent with my boss, the divisional director, dealing with disciplinary problems with the other techs. Fortunately there's only one guy having issues, and I think my boss has had just about enough of his crap.

Holy shit storm batman. So many people [bleep]ing about Wikipedia going down.
