crystal bow or shield?

I'm only 54 ranged but 72 def

 

 

 

What should I pick ;?

Get the bow and use it as motivation to get your range up ;)

Seeing as you need 70 range for the bow and 70 defense for the shield, you can use the shield. But they're are better shields out there. The same goes for the bow, but not having to pick up ammo is pretty nice.

It all depends on yourself really. Both are very usefull in their own ways. I find that the Crystal Shiel works really well against Aviansies, the Crystal Bow on the other hand is really handy for Waterfiends, etc.

trust me i hated ranged BEFORE lvl 70, but after that it became SO fun

You never "have" to pick up ammo, crystal bows just take away the option to, and hoenstly who picks up ammo when they're using an accumulator(which will not save crystal arrows)? Crystal arrows came out as costing either 72 or 92 coins each at the lowest recharge. They are also weaker than broad bolts(which cost liek 60 each I think) and they can't hit as high. Also, you get about 3 times as much of your ammo with an accumulator, so the actual bolt price is around 20ea. You are free to leave those piles of 20 coins on the floor if you wish.

I would go for bow, just get 70 ranged, the black d'hide worths it for other uses

Doesn't really matter, I wouldn't recommend using either... although the shield is great for Runecrafting.
