Dream Outfit and 99 Construction

Roflcopters

Recommended Posts

First off, I don't want people telling me to Aviansies, Slayer (might consider if good enough reason), Green Dragons, or NPC Trading.

My dream outfit is this:

Construction Cape (t), Santa Hat/Yellow Partyhat, Bandos Plate, Bandos Tassets, Dragon Claws/Armadyl godsword, Barrow Gloves (got), Dragon Boots (got), Fury, and Berzerker Ring.

The main problem is, making money for me. Don't ask why, but I made myself pick 10k flax. I am going to string them all. Should I buy Yew Longs (u) and sell them to alchers? I'm kind of willing to do anything right now except listed above. I have 4m, a dragon hatchet, and that's it. Any help?

The main reason I won't do Aviansies is because my range level sucks. Green dragons: Crowded with lower noobs. Slayer: I fail at it and never get good drops.

Edit: And to trim my Construction Cape, I was thinking 99 Fletch is why I suggested buying Yew Longs (u)

Calm down, I'm letting everyone give me their ideas. I'll probably farm and MTK.

If you're after a quick fix, go to GWD, DKS, or TDs.

If you want consistency, invest in your runecrafting.

EDIT: You have 63 rc. That's pretty high. I would ZMI until the level I wanted. There are 5 methods you could take then:

ZMI to 65 (death runes): Go make deaths for money.

ZMI to 75 (giant pouch): Go make deaths for money.

ZMI to 77 (Blood runes): Go make bloods.

ZMI to 82 (Double Astrals): Go make Astrals

ZMI to 91 (Double Nats): Go make nats.

For deaths you need MEP2, for bloods you need Legacy of Seergaze, for Astrals you need Lunar Diplomacy, and for nats you need no quests.

For all of these you should have the summoning to summon an abyssal familiar. If you're going for 91, you should also be able to get out a kyatt.

You could cut yew trees while you farm.

You should always be managing your kingdom because its easy money...

As for fletching, I wouldn't recommend stringing all of those bows for the xp. Just sell the flax or bow strings. When you want to level fletching (and construction) use the stealing creation tools. Double xp = good

50/50 Great Orb Project. Use the points to buy cosmic tabs, make cosmic runes. This is a little bit slower than using the abyss, but much more afk-able.

But, really, the best long-term in-game money comes with really high combat, really high runecrafting, or really high amounts of cash (merching). If you're serious about getting money, powertrain combat or runecrafting. Combat is easy to powertrain. If you're gonna go the rc route, may as well raise 8 million gp somehow, then powertrain with fire runes until double nats.

Rune mining should be on that list as well. It's 2x-3x faster to get 85 mining than 91 rc, at you can make 700k per hour with it. That's 700k per hour AND afk-able. However, I know that most people do not like mining, and the powermining is much harder than training at ZMI.

It'll take months if you only farm/rc. You have to get into combat @ GWD/TDS.

Dragon drops: 82 (2 claws)

Dagannoth kings drops: 73

Barrows item count: 51

GWD drops: 54 (5 hilts: 1x bandos, 3x saradomin, 1x zamorak)

Whips: 4

Sigils: 1x spectral (FFA), 1x arcane (FFA)

With that you have, use it towards fletching. You can make money off it only by cutting your own logs though, but if you don't mind 99 fletch as a cost then just buy some maple/yew logs, cut them, sell unstrung bows, repeat until you get low on logs in which case you just buy more

For rc to make money, I would just use abyss to make cosmics (since you have double cosmics) until you can make deaths. Then make deaths. I would also keep up with MTK and farming herbs on the side.

Maybe the fastest way for you to make money right away is to collect herb seconds. One way is to farm limpwurt roots in addition to herbs. I would collect blue dragon scales since you have 70 agility for the shortcut, and can just tele back to falador. I've heard scales can be 650k to 800k per hour depending on prices. White berries near Lletya are good too if you have a lot of teleport crystals.

And I know you said no slayer, but tbh, I've made more money off clue scrolls doing slayer tasks than anything else but rune mining. Plus if you get to 78 before the new monster is released, then you can have a chance at a new drop which will sell for lots at first even if it is a horrible item.

But you have to realize it's not "quick" money he is after. He doesn't want a quick extra 5m to buy a Godsword or something. He needs well over 200m. Doing ANY of the above that you suggested is EXTREMELY inefficient if you're going to get over 200m with it. For that much money, you're better off raising your skills to the optimal level first, THEN making money.

Fletching is bad money. Green dragons beat it.

Rc is good money, but not the ways you suggested. If you want to get the most out of RC, you'll want 82 AT LEAST (double astrals) if not 91.

The fastest way for him to make money right now may be second gathering. But remember that this is in the extremely long term. Collecting whiteberries and limps just won't cut it.

You would really need to invest in your skills first. Do not go for any of the "low level" methods. If you're really serious about your outfit and 99 construction, none of them will cut it. You need high level methods. That's the simple truth.

Oh, i remember you. You're the one that asked how to make money and shot down every idea.

BUT, i am not here to flame. I'll try the best i can to help.

91 RC'ing nats i guess would be something. But most likely not a option with you.

I wouldn't get suckered into a merching clan. Most of the time only the higher ups get profit because they're the ones calling the shots and have a head start.

GWD is the only real way you can make that much cash without going insane first.

But you're going to need to grind combat exp for a few weeks to get decent stats for that.

[hide=METHOD I HAVE COME UP WITH THAT YOU MIGHT NOT LIKE]I'd do green dragons to get a good 30M start up cash and get a good setup for GWD.

Then grind combat EXP for a few weeks(get all combat 90+) and then get really lucky at a GWD boss of your choosing. Oh, and do MTK and farm herbs along side of that[/hide]

Realistically, i think your goals are a tad bit too high for your level and experience. considering you don't have the focus to get your range higher and do avian, Or anything else repetitive.

But one thing you must learn my friend, is that RS is a extremely repetitive game.

I would like to do Green Dragons but they're always full. God Wars Dungeon, no teams won't a level 112. Dagganoth Kings: Haven't looked for a team. I'm half tempted to become a Pest Control prod for my combat exp. As for Slayer, I got sucked into it when a good friend wanted to race but then I got bored.

I guess I could Slay to get my stats up and then when I get 90 melee stats start GWD/DKs. Since, I can never find a clan willing to do GWD/DKs even though I have not looked for a DKs one. OR Green Dragon my way to 90 attack, defence, strength, and hitpoints.

I think you got the right idea here.

And when you're bored of green dragons, go do PC for a while.

I would mix it up between slayer and RC, thats your best way to success. Thats what im going to do after i finnish my water fiend task, i want 80 RC and 83 slayer by the end of the summer =]

Ima make mad moonies, join me and you may share the booty in store, considering that your already ahead of my by like 30 levels in rc you should make dumb money.
