I'm pretty sure that once you do the "chase" part of Hunt for Surok, you can more quickly reach him by going "straight" to his cavern. Lots of food and prayer potions and magic defense gear with pray from melee. The only thing that will then hit you will be Surok's magic (can hit in the 20s), but the more powerful melee attacks and ork legions that he summons won't hit you. I potted up with a super set and ended up having to eat some of the food afterward, just to pick up the multiple drops.

You can go back to bork right away without the chase..

I wear dragonhide and pray melee... but today that didn't seem to make a difference since the mage hit me for 18-22 every time he casted a spell... rather annoying.

Just take a tele, maybe some super pots or alternatively just drink a sip of each in the bank before you run off so that you can have those spots for food. Could also take a combat potion.. but not as effective.. then as much food (monks+) as you can. maybe a prayer potion or 2 if it takes you a long time to kill him / don't have the prayer points to last you..

The praying melee will protect you from bork and his ork legions.. so the mage attacking you is the only thing to worry about. Make sure when the ork legions spawn that you keep your attack on bork instead of them. Once bork dies, they do too.

I think it's called Hunt for Surok, and it's a mini-quest.

As far as I know you do not have to chase the guy again, just go to the final room.

Pray melee to withstand Bork.

I usually kill the ork legions as soon as they arrive, they are quite easy anyway but you don't really have to do them as they die once Bork does anyway.

Take a super attack and a super strength potion to make sure you kill him fast.

Make sure you have a teleport out for when you have killed Bork, as far as I know there's no exit.

The rest of your inventory could be filled with sharks so you can heal when the mage attacks you (keep your health high, the mage doesn't hit much but he hits hard).

No ... and no more spamming ...

With my stats I can take him down with about 10 tunas, prayer, and piety. You should bring a few prayer potions, maybe some stat boosters, and monkfish +.

Seconded.

Quite frankly, I find you incredibly annoying, with constant use of horrible grammar and spelling errors.

PLEASE, PLEASE FIX THE WAY YOU TYPE.

Anyways, on topic:

Karils and melee pray shoudl see you through, karils provides enough ranged defense to stop the legions attacks anyway.

2Xeo5.png

Karils is a bad idea, to be honest. It's better to wear the best melee armour you have and pray melee. When the Ork legions come, move around Bork so they're meleeing you, and leave them alone and focus on Bork.

Mage defense doesn't seem to have any effect on what the mage hits, so focus on reducing Bork's damage.

Thanks to Uno for the awsome sig <3

Yes mage defence does almost nothing to block the mage's attacks.

If anything, bring prossy top and legs to boost your praying time. Pray melee and bring perhaps a fally shield or a pray pot if you find that you run low during battle. Bring a nezzy helm for pray and strength bonuses. The rest of your kit should focus on boosting pray and strength.

Bring a combat potion or super attack/strength (Def is pointless). As for food, pineapple pizzas all the way ::'

Sorry, simple unrelated question, what's up with the "..." after like every sentence?

i have a related question....is it possible that you kill them long enough for them to not be aggressive...because i have seen this with SoS ankouls...i was training there once and i know they are agressive so after killing them for 40 mintues they werent agressive anymore...so is this true?

You do it in every post in every thread. It's kinda annoying.

for falador shield 3 do i have to do the diary??

It is the only way to get it, so yes. A lesser fally shield could still help, though.
