July 6, 200917 yr Hi, i have a question. I done 30+ barrows and till didn't get any barrows items. I kill every brother and get kc 10+. My armour is mystic and rune/dragon. So, what's the problem and why I didn't get any items? thanks :)
July 6, 200917 yr It's all luck. Sometimes you go 40 or 50 (or more) trips in a row with no barrows items, and sometimes you get 2 in one chest. You can't rely on getting a specific # of barrows items unless you do a LOT (like 1000 or more) runs. Check out this cool browser gladiator game!
July 6, 200917 yr kk i dont know if its true or not but my friends did a big calculations on this, they said barrows drops r recieving lower chances since many ppl are doing this...your best option is to do it in less crowded worlds for maximum drops

July 6, 200917 yr It's always been incredibly luck based barrows has, its not like normal monster drops where every x amount you have a fairly good chance of an item, its incredibly random. You must be doing something wrong. I've done about 200 - 300 runs and the average drop rate for me is 1 in 15. Biggest dry streak was about 35 - 40. No where near 433. Drops: Misc: Abyssal Whip x28 , Dark Bow x5, Beserker Ring x3, Warrior ring x1 Dragon: Dragon Platelegs x2 , Dragon Plateskirt x2, Dragon Boots x38, Dragon Med Helm x4, Shield left half x3 Godwars: Godsword shard x13, Bandos Hilt x3, Bandos Chestplate x6, Bandos Tassets x4, Bandos Boots x5, Saradomin Sword x1, Zamorakian Spear x1,. Armadyl Helm x2, Armadyl chestplate x2.
July 6, 200917 yr I average 1 item per 2 trips (5 to 7 runs per trip). The odds are about 12.5 runs per item (not my values from the last truely massive barrows data research by leesters [sp?]) as long as you kill all the brothers. 433 runs and no drops is extremely extremely unlikely but could be possible (had a 100 run dry streak before). The population doesn't have any affect on the drop rate at all. In fact more people at barrows is safer for everyone playing the minigame. July 6, 200917 yr its 100% random imo. i got a v skirt on my first barrows run and then took me 50+ to get torag helm and then 30 to get my next barrows so i would have to say as a fact in my mind its random 99 defence reached 7/7/09 99 strength reached 12/28/08 barrow drop since 7/7/09 ahrims top(1), guthan spear(1), dharok legs(1), verac helm(1)

July 6, 200917 yr I normally get at least one Barrows item a day, this hasn't failed me so far in two weeks of Barrowing. I normally do 30-40 trips a day (one run per chest so I can recharge prayer at my house and save money) and I usually get at least 16 KC each time. You can look at my Barrows log below this message for an idea of all the loot I get. Even if I didn't get an item, I could still earn about 2M alone in runes + bolt racks in a single day. It's all luck, but if you have the mentality that you'll profit no matter what and just do Barrows for fun, the items will just come as a delightful surprise. Otherwise, you'd end up stressing out over a dry streak and give up on it, losing more money in the long run because you gave up.
