Inuashakent
Umm... considering waterfiends give 2x as much charms, it's better. Also, Waterfiends make 50-100k/hour cash. [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]

Nah there about even if you don't have 80+ melee stats and 68 summoning. Without a bunyip and low melee stats you'll have issues getting more then 60 crimsons at waterfiends which is the same you'd get at dagganoths. At higher levels waterfiends are a lot better, but at lower levels dagganoths are the same and more afkable. RayOxide
ill be getting my combat stats up before i go to waterfiends, so no worries there Try Cockroach Soldiers. They're pretty epic. I get ~30 crimsons a run and I *just* have 80 all Melee stats. And 1 run = 150k too I think. (Or more) I dont need a siggy no moar.
Inuashakent
No, he could do Waterfiends fine at his level. Remember, if his low level affects his kill rate of Waterfiends, it will also affect every other monster. Again, he's high level enough to do Waterfiends. Banking is 2 minutes. aspeeder
Wouldn't hurt : , tbh when I tried waterfiends the first time I had a hard time fitting enough food in, and then when the raw food dropped I didn't have enough space for it . Just try a run with a more standardized inventory and then adjust it to your needs once you get some practice in (Also they were my slayer task so I had some slayer crap filling my my inv  ) http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/ww6/aspeeder/Siggy_zpsewaiux2t.png 99 Strength since 6/02/10 99 Attack since 9/19/10 99 Constitution since 10/03/10 99 Defense since 3/14/11 99 Slayer since 8/30/11 99 Summoning since 9/10/11 99 Ranged since 09/18/11 99 Magic since 11/12/11 99 Prayer since 11/15/11 99 Herblore since 3/29/12 99 Firemaking since 5/15/12 99 Smithing since 10/04/12 99 Crafting since 9/16/13 99 Agility since 9/23/13 99 Dungeoneering since 1/1/14 99 Fishing since 2/4/14 99 Mining since 2/28/14 99 Farming since 6/04/14 99 Cooking since 6/11/14 99 Runecrafting since 10/10/14 9 Fletching since 11/11/14 99 Thieving since 11/14/14 99 Woodcutting since 11/20/14 99 Construction since 12/03/14 99 Divination since 2/22/15 99 Hunter since 2/23/15 99 Invention since 01/20/17 99 Archaeology since 5/14/22 99 Necromancy since 11/22/25 Quest Point Cape since 08/20/09 Maxed since 2/23/15 Fire Cape since 02/27/13 Slayer: 3 Leaf-Bladed Swords, 8 Black Masks, 2 Hexcrests, 26 Granite Mauls, 5 Focus Sights, 33 Abyssal Whips, 9 Dark Bows, 1 Whip Vine, 3 Staffs of Light, 15 Polypore Sticks Dragon: 10 Draconic Visages, 7 Shield Left Halves, 20 Dragon Boots, 40 Dragon Med Helms, 8 Dragon Platelegs, 6 Dragon Spears, 20 Dragon Daggers, 5 Dragon Plateskirts, 1 Dragon Chainbody, 63 Off-hand Dragon Throwing Axes, 19 Dragon Longswords, 27 Dragon Maces, 1 Dragon Ward Treasure Trails: Saradomin Full Helm, Ranger Boots, Rune Body (t), Saradomin Vambraces, Various God Pages Misc:1 Onyx,1 Ahrim's Hood, 1 Guthan's Chainskirt, 1 Demon Slayer Boots

I was the only one in there, and you definitely need to pray protect from range the whole time.. I had to leave after like 20-30 minutes.. thats how fast they ate up my food. I don't plan on going back there again.. it would be easier if there were other people there though, cause having 5-10 dags range you at the same time eats up your food fast. ghjkl
Yea you're suppose to pray range on the dags. Like others said, waterfiends are the best bet for charms besides bursting or cannoning scarabites, and they become really easy at 68 slayer. At your stats, you can probably manage about 60-70 crims an hour and around 120k profit.

kdb148
Training up melee on cockroach soldiers first would be most beneficial. The charm drop rate isn't as good as waterfiends, but they are easy to kill, and quite profitable with constant drops of noted ore/seeds/runes/alchables, and you will get a decent # of crimsons. Although without a bunyip, you might have to bank for food more often than you'd like. Check out this cool browser gladiator game!

kdb148
Unfortunately, they don't. They might be worth using Guthans on for healing though, since you can camp down there pretty much as long as you want, until you are full of gems. And if you ignore the sapphs and emeralds, you could probably stay down there until your Guthans disintegrates. They are very campable if you bring alchs. Check out this cool browser gladiator game! Inuashakent
Lol, don't stay until Guthan disintegrates. Make sure you use pure/super sets. [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]

kdb148
If it helps, cockroach soldiers don't hit all that often - at 80 defense, a bunyip was plenty of healing for me, so your Guthans wouldn't be needed all that much. You could probably get in 50+ hours of killing them before it needed repairs. Check out this cool browser gladiator game!

kdb148
It might be. Can't say for sure. If you can afford one, a sara godsword might provide you with all the healing you need. And no pesky repairs needed  Check out this cool browser gladiator game!
