SportsGuy
AFK training is against the rules...FYI. People may do it (and get away with it) but that doesn't mean it's okay to talk about on here. perfetc
I think theres 2 types of AFK. Theres the "I can't even see the pc" kind of AFK. Then theres the "I am at the pc but I am reading a book or watching tv" kind of AFK. The first 1 is against the rules but I think the second 1 is ok, who hasn't read these forums or watched tv while fishing or something else? Skeptical
Do you mean illegal AFK, as in leaving your keyboard? If so, dont do it. If not then bandits are your best option. Neither is okay, but I'm sure that the second would be harder to prove, since there would probably be more computer interaction. It amazes me how many people think bending the rules is part of the rules. I'm not saying you, but just in general. Are you saying that you trained all your stats to that level without so much as glancing at something else, such as forums or the tv? Im sorry but I don't belive you. baileydafrog
6. What is AFK training? AFK training is Away From Keyboard training. While you are playing on our games, you must be at the computer. Away-from-keyboard training is not allowed, and you should log out when you leave the computer. i'm sorry, but what point there does it say you must be concentrating at the Runescape window? it clearly says you must be "at the computer", get a grip thanks
Dire_Wolf
I may sound like a wanna be mod but i am not. I just think following rules is okey. First of all: AFK=Away from keyboard. Jagex stated that it's banneable. 2nd of all Tip.it follows Jagex rules which means you should be banned if you AFK. 3rd we are warning you not to do the mistake. So tired of seeing people think AFKing is legal. ON TOPIC Yaks at Neizinot island is good to level at. That's what i did

You little mod wannabe, quit crying. I know exactly what kind of person you are from this post. You and your type are the reason for some of the biggest problems in this world. I'm not over-stating. EDIT: More on topic...if people are asking for something to train at that doesn't require 100% attention, that's different. AFK training is against the rules, period. Stop calling it AFK training then and start calling it something else if you want, but AFK is not the same as at the computer and doing something else. You're at the computer. Proof? Jagex doesn't even want you to leave the room for a second while you are logged in (Stronghold of Security questions, remember?). AFK = away from keyboard. If you're not away from the keyboard, then you're not AFK. Browsing a different window, watching tv, reading a book ect. are NOT afking, because you are obviously still at your computer. BlueLancer
The first 1 is against the rules but I think the second 1 is ok, who hasn't read these forums or watched tv while fishing or something else? You can't be banned if you watch a TV next to you or do homework while playing the game. At their discretion, Jagex may ban you if they deem their evidence to be sufficient enough that you are not at your computer or have a program moving for you so you don't get logged out (both of which are against Jagex rules). AFK training is Away From Keyboard training. While you are playing on our games, you must be at the computer. Away-from-keyboard training is not allowed, and you should log out when you leave the computer. If you read a forum while playing, you are at your computer. It's up to a Jagex mod to determine whether you're moving enough or not to be considered 'active'. You wont be banned unless the inbuilt safeguards of the game notice clear macro patterns in your clicks/you refuse to answer the messages of a mod even after being teleported to a hidden zone (which are shown to you even if you have all chats blocked)
