If they are resistant to heat, they're weak to cold, and can still be destroyed by heat over 150 degrees. Same works for cold resistance.

 

If they're resistant to alkali, they're weak to acid.

Flamethrowers do not burn at over 150 degrees at all places within the flame and the planet could have an atmosphere with no oxygen to let the flame live.

Mather I am going to explain something to you~ While biological changes may be fast they would not happen for a few hours at the least at which point you would be dead :unsure: Also even if you could mutate that fast your race would then consist of [developmentally delayed] organisms. Also the amount of force the shot gun would put out would shred the weak bonds you would get between bacteria. In response to your metal IT WOULD NOT EXIST period as a metal cools down it's particles slow down and you have a solid from a liquid. So there is no practical way that you could get a metal to remain liquid at room temperature. Also as people have said before you cannot create or destroy energy. The levels of amplification you are talking about would not happen ( ex. 4,000 watts to 8,000 watts just from heat) it would not work.

Three, naquadah turns liquid with the help of microwaves as well as heat therefore it could be a result of molecular reconstruction.

Four, the amount of energy gained is depending on the efficciency, there is no set restrictions on how mouch one type of energy would equal in another form, so it could be possible to convert one degree celsius into almost infinite volts of electricity if efficciently enough.

Basically, we make a grid. Each grid square equals 1 lightyear. On the map, we only show the stars. Then on the first post/posts we have a full list of all planets sorted by star. This way adding and renaming planets is simple, and it's easier to figure out where they are since you can just use ctrl f and search for the planet name, rather than scanning the map.

 

Here's what I need though, I need a list of the planet types and descriptions again.

 

Also. Mather... Heat is just energy. There's no efficiency, there's direct, 100%, or 99.999% conversion. You're breaking one of the most important laws of physics.

I'll try to do a draft sometime this weekend. We also had the idea of not naming planets until someone colonizes them. Planets would just be named after the system (ie: the planets in the system "Dave" would be named Dave 1, Dave 2, etc.) until they're colonized.

One of the techs they found was naquadah generators, crystals used in computers and hyperdrive engines. As they made ships capable of travelling across the galaxy they eventually stumbled upon stargates on several planets, one of them being Earth, when they arrived at Earth they found human sivilisations that seemed aimless. They took that opportunity and took some humans as hosts and started posing as gods. During their reign they spread humans across the galaxy, using the stargates, to be slaves for them. Eventually there was an uprising on Earth where the people stood up against their "gods", the result was that the current reigning Goa'uld, Ra, left in his ship, and the Earths stargate was buried. But although the Goa'uld lost the first planet in their empire, most of the others were still under their control...

This procedure destroyed the imune system but the Goa'uld symbiotes the Jaffa carry gives them a better health, endurance and strenght than what normal humans have...

I have 2 small citys up and running on Yexenus now. Each is slowly expanding. My ships are constantly transporting people from earth to Yexenus, so we can get our new planet up and running. Then I suppose I'll be extracting minerals and other raw materials.
