Wisp
Lol, that sounds like something I would do. You can destroy planets in real life, however destroying islands is impossible (with some leeway) I'm really bored, Can I start my life on the planet right now... pleeeasseeeeeeBlowing up a planet would take more energy than the dyson bubble would produce. Easily. And we aren't allowed to destroy islands in the game? That's news to me. No it wouldn'tOk, how would you go about blowing up a planet? And blowing up planets is possible, but destroying islands is impossible? Hegemony-Spain
VEGHATERMEATLOVER
Ok, how would you go about blowing up a planet? Many diffrent ways, For example a large nuclear bomb implanted deep in the crust. And blowing up planets is possible, but destroying islands is impossible?Yes, if you obliterate a planet into little bits it'll be "gone" if you attempt to destroy an island you'll just sink it into the ground slightly. a_bert
Enough force breaks gravity.Imagine a rocket being fired into air. Hex, just sayin' - I laughed so fricken' hard. We are in a universe but we can't do anything. If I create the the technology I should be able to do it. Yeah, I created the tech for my telekinesis - why can't I do it! [seriously though, I'll scrap tk - it's not a big deal.] 'Tis I, 'tis Vindice, 'tis I!

The_Mather1
Lol, your reason for not wanting destruction of planets is so that you don't have to update the map.We can already crash spaceships into planets, which would wipe out all life on them. My bomb isn't for destroying entire planets though. In that case he could only find a big stellar map with planets and say that anyone who destroy a planet/sun has to cross that planet/system out themselves. Naquadah has been proven able to amplify any energy except cinetic and heat with the exception of in explotions, also while cunducting reseach on how it would work with different energies, when I tried a temperature over 200 Celsius and exposed it to microwaves it turned liquid and stayed that way even when it got back to room temperature. The difference between normal and liquid naquadah is that the liquid is lighter but less effective. So you randomly found a metal that breaks the laws of energy conservation, and then also ignores logic by not going back into a solid state? Not randomly, just read this. I make SG tech. Twitter: @TheMather1
Seraphi
Stargate obviously doesn't follow reality, since that would make for a decidedly boring story. "Oh no, we must go through the gate again." "But teleporting will dissasemble our atoms and make us die." "Alright then, screw it." Television isn't usually true, Mather.

The_Mather1
I set half of my scientists to continue work on crystal chips and the rest to work on the plans a new 4.7 meter wide 8 meter long tube-shape small(not primarely a fighter even though it's small) with retractable wings and 9 seats. No. But I'm starting to think that it's important to mix in some fun/cultural updates every now and again rather than making this a 100% arms race.It isn't necceseraly an arms race just because you don't post cultural events, I have so far only made one thing that can be considered military and that is the fighter in my sig. I'd post the quote, but the PHPBB conversion killed all my posts :(. And why bring them back? I have new land in faraway places. I still need to maintain order in them don't I? Errant Venture is making it's way to my "o" system planet. It starts with a Z, only Ross would be able to remeber these names, lol. Research from previous post continues.
