How long do you think it would take to go from Earth to Mars usuing the latest (in game) engine tech? I forgot because we're fast as anything, but I'm pretty sure it still took a while.

If Errant Venture has indeed had enough time, it has dropped it's beacon off on Mars and loaded up on LAARTs. It will return to Earth in the same time it took to get there, I assume.

How much are your homing beacons?

Couple million, not too much. 2mil for borrowed frequency, 4mil for me to make you one for your own uses.

Okay, I'd like to buy a couple because I'm going to make a departure soon.

By the way, how many years are left for my clone soldiers? If they're close to dying from old age, I'd like to purchase another 2 million, please.

yeah they're probly gettin' old by now.

I'll whip you up a new batch of 2mil.

Does your new research have to do with space fighters per chance? If so, I'd like to put a stake in that tech.

In fact, yes. I am developing advanced space fighters at the moment. However, I'm only really working with AI right now and the finishing touches to the space fighters. I wouldn't mind working with you in a joint-research though.

Thanks again for letting me have clones, RPG. I can't really pay the money up front at the moment (My budget is strapped with producing ships), but you'll definitely get your money when the clones are ready.

previous research regarding space ships (single man) has been handed to Serephurus.

instead research is going toward gamma rays, x-rays, and nuetrons to fully understand them.

To do so, I'm gonna try to make a container that can withstand preposterous amounts of energy (it's possible, look at the dyson shard).

Won't be done for a while, but I don't mind.

We have started the first tests on the clones we ordered. Everything seems to be going ok. Also, our space ship is also coming along quite nicely. Our new guns are available for purchase, and are being distributed to our troops.

@ RPG - are my clones able to reproduce? because a major part of my race is that it is passed down properly through reproduction.

That my point, Rocco. You're ships are all the way in the Hakkiris system. The tech you just bought is on Earth. How did you equip your ships with something that is millions upon milllions of miles away?

and yes Trol, your clones can reproduce, since you never specified that. I sterilize mine, but that's just for my purposes. In fact, my foreign planet clones taht are being produced can reproduce, as I stated in an earlier post (that was lost cause I'm an idiot). Sterilization was an option, not a requirement.

Not too sure how far you're going to get with 100 people of the same gene pool though.

Hmm.. Could you make me 1000 more clones? i will supply multiple DNA samples.

TFed working on upgrading its anti-air system, as well as its targeting tech for missile shields. Construction has begun underneath the European wall, to reinforce it.

Another 5 years until I release my new weapon lineup, and probably another 10-20 years for the bomb. So far projections for the bomb put them at a cost of $500b each, though that could increase or decrease depending on time.

Also, construction has begun on a massive space station above Midgard, which will serve as a sort of an intergalactic trade/culture hub. All ships arriving will dock there before getting clearence to proceed to the surface, where construction has begun on a number of spaceports across the planet.

Project C progressing slowly but surely. Also working on updating my air force, both land-based and space-based. New exosuit design is also on the way, should be around 5 years.

Another few loads of Roridium have been dropped off and sent to the labs.

And please, no bullet-stopping mindtricks please. If that sort of stupid [cabbage] continues, then I'll just "chemically" turn my people into giant tungsten-enchased super-soldiers.

Also, Rpg. Since when are there LAARTs on Mars? And why are you bringing them back? :-s

Hm, looks like I can't edit my sig without removing my moozik URL quote, since we're apparently only allowed to have 20 URLs in a signature. Bollocks.

Ships arriving at Sega-Res soon. Instructions have been sent to begin production of Helios spheres.

I also revised the cost of those to 60 million each, which seems reasonable enough considering what they actually are.

Cataclysm I is completed, and will remain in orbit of Earth until superluminal, when Rhadamanthus III, Cataclysm I and 6 Exeos ships will be sent to Sega-Res, all at maximum civilian capacity.(Just under 300,000 total)

[hide=map]spacemap.png[/hide]

Removed my flag from two tiny planets in Recea-Decimus, decided to call it off. Rhadamanthus IV and V are now returning to Earth.

Construction begins on Cataclysm II (0/4)

4 days till completion of Dyson bubble.

PS. Dusty - No destroying stars/planets.

Why no destruction of planets, what if I decide to kill a race and then can't kill the planet, What if I make the technology to destroy planets?

No. It would mess things up.

The planet lists, for instance, would be screwed up.

Also, whats to stopping me from blowing up every single planet possible?

NO DESTRUCTION OF STARS OR PLANETS.

Lol, your reason for not wanting destruction of planets is so that you don't have to update the map.

We can already crash spaceships into planets, which would wipe out all life on them. My bomb isn't for destroying entire planets though.

In that case he could only find a big stellar map with planets and say that anyone who destroy a planet/sun has to cross that planet/system out themselves.

Naquadah has been proven able to amplify any energy except cinetic and heat with the exception of in explotions, also while cunducting reseach on how it would work with different energies, when I tried a temperature over 200 Celsius and exposed it to microwaves it turned liquid and stayed that way even when it got back to room temperature. The difference between normal and liquid naquadah is that the liquid is lighter but less effective.

So you randomly found a metal that breaks the laws of energy conservation, and then also ignores logic by not going back into a solid state?

Think of it this way:

We aren't allowed to totally destroy islands on Earth, why should we be allowed to totally destroy planets, which are, in essence, the countries in the space phase.

Telling you not to destroy planets is kind of a pre-emptive strike.

(I will admit that not having to update the map too much was a part of my reasoning)

But theres nothing to stop somebody from just randomly blowing up every they can to screw the rest of us over and leave a bunch of empty stars.

What possible purpose could blowing up planets have? Thats like beating somebody in a war, then instead of capturing their land, you just nuke it and sink it into the ocean or something.

Blowing up a planet would take more energy than the dyson bubble would produce. Easily. And we aren't allowed to destroy islands in the game? That's news to me.

Lol, that sounds like something I would do. You can destroy planets in real life, however destroying islands is impossible (with some leeway)

I'm really bored, Can I start my life on the planet right now... pleeeasseeeeee

But there is no point in destroying planets. Just put it down, and leave it alone.

You can't start yet because that would give you an advantage over the new players without you actually doing anything beforehand.

Also, Doom, I thought we agreed somewhere along the line that making stuff permenantly uninhabitable was not allowed?
