Seraphi
... No.With completed I mean researched over 100 years, that's over three real months, the version I use now is actually not more effective than a 5*5m solar-panel alone with an endurance of 5-7 years..Then explain to me how you plan to power a plasma window. It would take thousands of these things to use it.
The_Mather1
I told you my ZPM's would(most likely) be my last StarGate tech exept space-crafts and their weps. Although I have been working on recalculating the energy required to keep a stable wormhole open through the use of such a device, just kidding :P , but you should read it anyways, it's showing two ways; one, constantly replacing all electrons, two, spinning the electrons above the speed of light inside a electromagnetic field(em generators energy req not included): Directly downloaded excel document. Wisp
The electrons aren't going above the speed of light in what you're talking about, because it's impossible. They're going above the speed of light in a vacuum, the speed of light is not a constant for all environments. It's higher in nuclear reactions, and lower in water. Seraphi
THE. IDEA. DOES. NOT. WORK. Subspace foam? What? Stargate is a fictional show, Mather, a lot of the stuff on it doesn't make any physical sense. Also, as far as I can tell, 1000 Solar cells would have trouble powering that thing. The_Mather1
I'm sending a warship to blow Mather back to the stone age. :wall: Hello, several thousand jumpers, more drones, jaffa army, I think you are forgettin how hard it is to hit something smaller than your weapons, not to mention thousands of them. Hex: I said I was going to stop making them with the exeption of space-crafts. Twitter: @TheMather1
Seraphi
I'd like to help rocco, unless you stop stealing all your tech from stargate.Including spacecraft and weaponry. My Cataclysm ships have an advantage against your small ship in the way of goalkeeper railguns, which will lock onto and destroy projectiles and small ships that are going towards me. I'd advise you listen to the demands.
VEGHATERMEATLOVER
Please, Please, Please.... Its getting slightly annoying now.oh yeh, Rocco said rofl? at "more then sentient"what I was trying to get at was the fact that humans don't know everything, they don't know why there on this earth and all that but these AI robots in about 40 years may be more then sentient. Mather, don't get blown up by Rocco, just say you won't use stargates (also that pm you sent me about the spiders, WOW!!! thats amazing, I might find a way to carry the sentient into diffrent electrical appliances (E.G a toaster))

Furah
Could somebody recommend a good planet for The Swarm to head off too? I am setting all my mechanics to develop spaceships right now. Tank is getting all the information that is needed through various sources on the net. Information given from others would also be greatly appreciated. Seraphi
Which planet are you positive on Mage? Also, I would sell you a few ships but mine cannot support anything that requires life support systems. Also, Hex, that toaster would need to have a very large hard drive... VEGHATERMEATLOVER
It was just an example. anyway, i'm working on a sort of way for this AI to spread around quickly to be saved in a sort of unreal world (like the matrix). I'm not going to plan on putting it in toasters lol, it was just an example. and in the future we won't have the toasters you and I love they'll have inbuilt music tracks AND put the jam on your toast for you :twss:
Jehosaphat
Am I the only one thinking that Hex's 10% growth rate is a bit too much? Unless he changed it and I just missed the post.... Anyways, updates:Acceleration Engine: 14/18Electric Shield: 14/20New Hope Space Station: 14/27TONSIL: 7/10Mini-Hopes: 5/5Ion Weaponry: 5/7Project Freon: 5/15Station at Oruguma:3/6 (I rounded it up so I don't have to keep track of post times)Military Pods: 2/18Colony on Zhoreuc: 1/4 Another section of New Hope is up, containing ion rifles and half of a ship production facility. The last 4 Mini-Hopes are done, and 2 have been sent to the asteroid field to assist the other two in finding somewhere for New Hope. The other 2 have been sent to Zhoreuc with 1,000 people each and supplies to establish a small colony. They should be there and have the colony set up in 4 years. Two Mini-Hopes have arrived at Oruguma and have begun setting up a small station. Two different Mini-Hopes have been searching the asteroid fields, and have in the process found a new element. This element, being called "Cryonite" by the crew, has a very low melting point (around -20 Celsius) and seems to retain its shape well. Further research will be done when the Mini-Hopes return samples to Iceland. The Project Freon scientists have managed to make conscious fluids out of a variety of creatures, and are now sure that it would work on humans. Needless to say, many people would be rioting if I used actual citizens, so if anyone's producing clones, could I order a hundred with no modifications? I would prefer that the race of conscious fluids stay with Napta. And I want to use people that are likely not to turn against me, given that conscious fluids retain their previous memories and attempt to continue to have the same behaviors.... it wouldn't end well. Not to mention if one of the fluids were to somehow manage to escape, then it'd basically just flow downhill until it was eaten, starved, or taken by the enemy. Edit: Ah, okay. I had just forgotten who was selling clones. :P

Jehosaphat
Actully clones are not very good for experiments for the following reason = All humans vary. And TBH those clones are expensive. These would not be experiment-clones, these would be final-result clones. Meaning they'd be what I'd actually use. And I'd rather have expensive clones that are loyal to me than cheap slave/clones that may turn against me at any moment.

VEGHATERMEATLOVER
Ross, When I get AI can I simply make one mind all connected to robots so everyone thinks the same? Yeh, why would clones be any more loyal? and I still don't understand what pieiseaten is getting at, slaves (just so we know we're not talking about people in a loin cloth) are more varyed then clones which are the same DNA compostition. With clones, the only history they really have is being grown, and so if I treat them nicely, they'll be more loyal. With slaves, they remember being enslaved for their whole life. And if someone's been enslaved their whole life, then they're not exactly going to be happy about the fact that they can be sold.
Wisp
Plus his slaves are lightyears away. It would cost hundreds of times more to bring them to earth than to buy the slaves. Hegemony-Spain
