Err I dont think rocco has anything that would do that much now that we cant ram ships into each others planets. The only two weapons that would work would be large scale cpc's or fusion nukes neither of which rocco has.

 

You can't use any nukes or ships against the planet simply because it would just create large splashes and maybe flood some land, but that's it.

Granted I would have to get creative but against retech it would be possible to use a landing craft. You send a reinforced drop pod in with thrusters/ enclosed method of underwater movement with a fusion nuke enclosed. Then you use it to get close to an underwater volcano/city then you blow it up and see what happens.

They are actually bent plasma windows, the same thing used to to guide the particles in the LHC.

Thus they can hold back anything... Grim! ...ions are witheld easily, and nukes too for that sake.

EDIT:@ Mather those things would not stop a nuke or even a prolonged attack from a cpc as they could not stop all of the particles some would continue onwards (the plasma window would be thin and a cpc actually penetrates a bit after the start of the armor on first impact)

Also, it's really just you have to predict the way the winds will change, and plan the path for your spaceship accordingly.

 

However, you cannot plan as an invader, so you will be torn up by the winds, especially as a glider.

Basically, they aren't shields. They're layers of plasma. They slow matter down as they go through it, but not stop it, usually, unless it's going very slow. All plasma is just superheated gas.

And, it holds in the internal atmosphere, so everything released from the city (pollutants) would be trapped, and everyone would die.

And no, you can't power them with a couple nuclear generators.

Plasma isn't your classical movie "shield" but it's the closest thing we have to one.

I thank you for the gesture, but when exactly did I help you "live in the cold"? And I have my own test subjects, I see little benefit on testing on a foreign species. These prisoners will be re-tried in the Kamino court system, and if found to be innocent, will be released into the ocean outside of Madagascar.

I mentioned developing a way for him to live in extreme cold environments, but seeing that you are specialised in the genetics department, I didn't want to encroach upon your territory too much. He basically wants a way for his species to have some sort of genetic code put into them that makes them more tolerant of cold environments. He wants something that doesn't have to be given on an individual basis and is inherited by future generations.

As I explained to you in the PM, that description isn't possible to create. I by far have the furthest research in playing with genetic codes. This is certainly true. But that doesn't mean I can speed evolution by millions of years. (and if this was the purpose of giving me 500 test subjects, even if it were possible, I'd need a hell of alot more than that)

I have returned, and will be taking back the Combine empire (previously known as Bulgaria). However, I am still keeping a military alliance with Dusty. My combat AI program, urban AI program, and UI nanosuit have been completed. These projects were started (and almost finished) quite some time ago. Could someone give me a recap on what has happened? It looked like my forces on Earth have acquired more territory.
