In other news 80 new Caravels were completed. 200 more have been commissioned, completed on the 27th.

 

PS. This 200 will mean the leftover mass from Asterisk has been exhausted so I am willing to buy all mass, garbage, waste, anything.

Actually, the reason why we were using such big numbers was because the NWO was.

 

If anyone remembers, for a hundred years my entire military was a few million people. Then everyone kept escalating, and using armies bajillions strong, so keeping our armies low (Dusty's was around 10m before the NWO started creating gigantic armies), we don't really have much of a choice.

I suppose. Ah well, for future reference if more than 2% of your population are in the armed forces(the kind that can attack other nations) then you run the risk of revolt. You can deploy civil defense(defensive armies) up to 100,000 per province(you can have 1 province with none and 1 province with 200,000 and so on and so forth)

 

It should mean airplanes and such will play a bigger part.

In any case, assuming that the crap doesn't hit earth, here are the following things that will be worked upon.

 

 

Research into plasma windows, now that we have so much more available energy.

Increasing the size of the research center I have in empty space by about 10 X.

Researching even more efficient ways to create large amounts of nanotubes.

Increasing production capabilities of my shipyard system even more.

AI research.

Robotics (I'm not planning on doing anything similar to you Ross, don't worry)

Improvements on the security of habitats.

Ships are currently being recalled to Unoph. Actually, they will go to distant planets and searching for precious minerals/metals.

My project has been decided. I'm going to eat parts of the other tiny planet in my system to get it done faster, and then I think you guys are in for a shock. It's going to take 50 years.

All offensive ship, as well as Helios orb (My allies can still produce them) production is being halted in exchange for this grand undertaking.

 

Just one thing though. It is not warfare based.

New research project-

Procaren (Pro-ca-air-N) to be worked on with Ross for the next 55 years. Ends on the 15th of January.

Going through a sort of an industrial revolution right now. Huge building undertakings, most military production cut for a while. Here's what's being worked on:

 

Birfrost: Farming World

-Vertical Farms

-Farm Sprays to increase yield

-Arctic regions being planted with the plant species I developed a while back

 

Midgard: Population World

-Massive skyscrapers and whatnot (think Coruscant)

-Will get most food from Birfrost

 

Vanaheim: Mining world

-Massive underground mines and whatnot

-Supplies most of the Federation's raw materials

-Reservations for the Warrs, though some are being relocated to other worlds to eliminate the possibility of their extinction

 

3 new space stations being constructed in Yggdrasil's system (military):

-They'll be worth around 500k points in the new system, and will take around 20 years to build

 

The 3 medical projects have been completed on Haven (from around 30-40 years ago), so all Hegemony members now have access to the cure for cancer, Alzheimers, and high cholesterol.

 

Tyr: Research labs, scientific advances, etc

 

Space hub is completed above Midgard, a massive structure that will server as the main marketplace for the surrounding sectors (Ohan, Yggdrasil, Nexetras, Bail, Emazotran).

 

Building a museum on Earth that will be free to enter, with pieces from the history of the Hegemony (WW3, WW4, WW5, other conflicts, etc).

 

Also, TFed has a bit of a weird political structure. It's a blend between a democracy and a dictatorship. The citizens elect who they want to be dictator for the next 10 years.

If we're going by the Hearts of Iron political system, it would look like so:

Well there are a variety of execution methods. You see, the kingdom is split into over 100 provinces. Each province has a daily execution show, where people vote for how the person dies. Choices can include strangulation by kelp, eye gouging, nose pinching, and many more!

I'm just going to assume they're inert and their systems have been stripped for any sort of military tech that's donated to be put on display, so I'm not tempted to say I reverse-engineer'd it in a fit of gamerage.

As per the transportation shortage: That's why I've pretty much halted military production :P

Tbh I think I could probably produce the most stuff per year, considering I have the most developed planet other than Earth (Midgard), as well a sizeable chunk of the already hyper-developed homeplanet (ahem, Earth). I'll get to building cargo ships.
