Because, in reality, money would be meaningless with so many people earning so much, and then no players are satisfied. Unless we want to do a complicated rehaul, but I doubt people would like that. And with vulgarity I meant arranging perfectly normal and harmless word in such a manner they hurt just thinking about them. No actuall threats or foul language(which I am good at avoiding, I believe I have only said two words that have been cencored, the rest I have cencored myself like [cabbage](yes I wrote cabbage in []s there.)). archimage_a Posted December 7, 2009 Share Posted December 7, 2009 How about we create a new planet(basically ripping off the Alpha Centuri plotline) which is supposed to be the first step in the universal expansion(so we still have sci-fi stuff) but things go wrong when we lose contact with Earth only three months after leaving from Earth.The game starts two months later when the crew have freaked out and formed into rivial groups and are fighting for control of the ship. The game then progresses as 1 month per day for the next 50 months, at which point the ship goes into orbit of Alpha Centuri and people are forced off the ship because of a lack of food, and we start from there...either crashing the ship into the planet, breaking the ship up or going down in pods and braving it. Since the game is in months not years researching planet leaving tech would take real life years, while building new lasers and such would be possible in only a few weeks or so...just like Hegemony.
