The_Mather1
Naquadah isn't "magical", it kills bacteria in the blood-stream if aplied in the correct manner(note: bacteria only) just like copper does(or more accuratly copper-oxide(copper "rust")), it amplifies all energy except for heat and kinetic(for which my use is limited). Once again I find myself typing these words:Stop complaining, Rocco, you are the only one who still does. Twitter: @TheMather1
Retech
I think that my only problem with Naquadah is the fact that if you put all of it and light a match, you could blow up the universe. The_Mather1
Nothing used in StarGate is completely impossible, some things there might not be feasible, while others are or have been under research IRL (like nuclear thrusters). Some of the different technologies are explained how works, while some are left for the viewers to imagine how works. There has been a few occurances where MGM have deemed some things to implausible and discontinued use. Also you'd be surprised how much they use black holes and other proven natural-occurances to do somewhat plausible things. Twitter: @TheMather1
The Dark Lord
Well of course some things would be plausible. Sci-fi is usually based on things that can possibly happen. For example, in Avatar, they used humanoid vehicles. We actually have that technology in real life. I'm pretty sure the US military has that stuff but hasn't mass-produced them yet. Hell, the US military is creating exoskeleton battle armor. In real life we even have cloaking devices (although they can't totally make something invisible yet). Real life exosuit. This one was developed in Japan, and it costs $20,000 to purchase one. It isn't military-grade, but it drastically increases one's strength, detects electronic signals and processes them before the muscles do, and it will be used in order to enable paralyzed people to move. In other words, it's a good idea to have one of these things lying around whenever a foreign country invades your country so you can grab some bullet-proof armor and a rifle and go out to kill those sons of [bleep]es. EDIT: I'm not taking part in this silly Stargate argument. I just needed an excuse for posting this stuff. SWAG Mayn U wanna be like me but U can't be me cuz U ain't got ma swagga on. archimage_a
Stop complaining, Rocco, you are the only one who still does.I resent that remark. I complain all the time. Retech. I acted on the information you had made avalible. Which was that your race has a life span of about 10 years...max.I don't remember you ever posting a limit to their birthing speed, nor asexual reproduction...and, if I am honest, your statements are contradictory:They just walk along a lay and eggThey can only lay this many eggsThe males get pregnateEveryone reproduces asexuallyThey lay eggsThey get pregnateThey spawn I think your race needs to be reighened in significantly, so that other people can actually abuse your race. I autowin the argument because I am a moderator, am respected and post incredibly long windedly so no one reads it all...But if Rocco, for instance, did what I did, you would have said no way and if I didn't step in it would have just drifted, probably with both sides claiming to be right. I seriously think that SOME standards need to be set. I am sick of having to spend 15 pages justifying my action, then reading 3 pages were someone else justifies my actions, then posting to rejustify my actions. Mather, I don't mind you using Stargate Tech(in all seriousness) but you need to use it realistically! I don't walk around saying 'I have technology from Star Wars, and so I am building the Death Star, and I have built the Endor Shield and it is invunrable to attack.' or 'I am the Borg, I have all their tech and by assimilating one of your vessels I have all your tech too.' These concepts are just silly. In the same way that walking around saying 'I have Stargate tech because it was in Stargate' is silly. I have been working on a spread sheet which will work out basic population problems, and all it needs is a Birth Rate, a Death Rate and a starting population. It will even automatically update your population when you put in the date. It also can work out if you have enough food to support your own people.I have been trying to bundle it, with someone elses help, with an economics spreadsheet, but that has been more difficult. I don't want to resort to spreadsheets. I would prefer if people just managed their own people...but with the amount of 'unbeatableness' being instilled into all the races it is just getting boring...Mather launches a virus bomb, which fails, but manages to kill everyone, but is healed, but kills everyone, but is healed, no, yes, no, yes, no, yes......ZZZZZZ........ NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes. No. Or 'This happens', no because of this this and this. 'It happened' No, because I did this 'No you didn't' I did. 'No.' Fine, then it is automatically undone because of this 'Sigh....' I like arguing (and yes I am rambling) but not when stuff is happening for a reason, a well defined reason...like the plague, for example. We spent pages arguing about how you could cure the plague, the plague was there to stop the overcrowding! It was going to happen again and again but still people stuck to their guns claiming they were unbeatable....I think that is the main problem...no one wants to just accept that 'No they were not prepared' Anyway, I have rambled enough, and now I am going to bed. I expect:Retech to send me his current population figures(and please typo check them this time) as well as the life span of his people, how many eggs/whatever they can lay at a time, who can reproduce and the current growth rate.Mather to post all the Stargate tech and advantages he currently has so that we can all see them.Everyone else to try to get along! NB: Retech, a 3rd surived, so that should be a Billion Licht on Capith. The other Captith planet is dead...Sending anti bacterias there would be like sending them to the moon. For the next 20 years it is uninhabitable, except by glass domes and bringing your own soil. After 20 years are up it will be a barren planet, barely capable of supporting life. And Licht from Japan are not 'flocking' back to your empire, simply because they have been given a much better deal by Dusty. Some are coming back, probably 1 billion, because they forgive the queen, but the others are dispersing into the universe, trying to become more intergrated with the rest of the universe so that, never again, will one Queen hold the power of life and death of the entire species, in her hands. Virus bombing has a 1 in 6 chance of completely devestating a planet, so that if will never(Well not without a couple of hundred years terraforming or a few thousand natural years) support life again...Trying to overrule me will just mean that your settlers will die, I will be annoyed and you will be annoyed. Why is Virus Bombing so deadly? Because it is that deadly. http://www.uzzisoft..../archimage.jpegWell I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

VEGHATERMEATLOVER
If you don't mind i'll explain the techs that I gave to Mather. -Defensive missiles basically act as foam dumdum bullets, as soon as they hit the target they expand which usually causes the missile to either be kicked off track or explode, if it explodes the foam will sheild the planet.-Offensive missiles are straightforward bombs.-Protoship/1 was a basic ship which was quite small.-Nanotech was at the point of making nanostructures.-AI was not sentient yet, it needs about 10 more years to be sentient.- EFRT's were powerful enough to work on a dynamo and were about the size of of half a UK postal tube. You also forgot CRONOUS, OURANOUS and mind uploading.Cronous was a race changing secret project, you can disregard this but it was to basically get a mindupload to work with robots and such. You may want to use thatOURANOUS Is spelt wrong but basically remember I had things like "left arm of ouranous" which was a ship, it had a hole through the middle. I was basically going to work on making a large space centre megastructure.Mind uploading took two months and was finished before I left, it complety. Minds can be uploaded and paired with CRONOUS it would allow me to make a robot race. IMO the whole basing techs off of Stargate thing really screws up this game. And all the other ridiculous 'quantum babble' doesn't. Does strange matter or whatever mess up the game. archimage_a
Like I said at the time...I fall back on science when something is game breaking because science almost always decreases the power. It doesn't multiply things, it just has a different arrangement of quarks compared to "Ordinary" matter.Therfore it multiplys things, therfore it breaks physics. But this hegemony is really getting ruined by all these physics bending things, now this has started slowly since we entered space. When we were on earth everyone wanted realism but now we just want to bend as many rules as possible to try and win. I think we should leave Aerokia for things that have been emerging here and realism here.Physics bending doesn't work in the real world so why should it work here, in real life strange matter would probably be a theory and then fail. Anyway, I have to go to make a make a map for zombies. So yeh, see ya.

Retech
Right, so apparantly I have a species that is far superior to normal humans, at the cost of losing 50% or so of my population. That's alright, I'll get that back in about two years. Anywho, the industrial output for consumer goods, as well as tanks and subs, has increased dramatically as new male workers enter the skilled workforce. Though the production of spaceships capable of fighting is the same (there aren't enough stations to have all the new workers on it), transports, ground defences, and other things built on land/sea have nearly doubled in production. Scram cannons are being installed to existing defences on all planets, adding another layer of defences against space-borne invaders. ----------------------------- Meanwhile, Lichtens are heading out to the polls today to elect a Prime Minister and parliament, somewhat following the British parliamentary system. The two parties currently in majority are the Royalists and the Equalitists. After the election, parties will have to create a coalition government with a majority of the parties. ----------------------------- Oh wait, it's four years. I have to double my population to reach pre-existing levels. ------------------------------ Oh yes, and I'm banning all trade with the SFW. Anything with their logo, aside from a diplomacy ship will be shot. Within that ship, they can land in a dock, but the dock has a fence around it, with anyone going over without authorization will be shot. Master of your domain? The_Mather1
Retech, please don't let someone named Jens Stoltenberg (Norwegian prime minister) win (he's annoyingly dumb).
