6x4 for tungsten is ridiculously big. My ship which is a km long railgun shoots things not much bigger than that. With a 10m railgun you wouldn't really get that thing going fast at all.

What's its length, in metres, Doom? (Mega Cruiser)

I'll have to calculate that, but I'm guessing it's around 10km long and half a km tall. Though it might be more.

For star wars reference, that would put it at about half the length of the super star destroyer, but much taller.

EDIT: oh, as part of project Hellfire, it is equipped with an ultra powerful laser, that takes 500kg of Duna to fire.

That being said, I will buy any Duna now at a price of 1 billion per kg, I think.

If males could suddenly become intelligent like that, then certainly the event seemed fair. Now, you're just grasping at straws to justify your unfair actions.

I find that offensive.

A ) I put loads of effort into making my actions as fair as physically possible and given that no one gives me information beyond 'Population of' I mean most people don't even have maps!

B ) The game practically dominated my life for some time, I had operations in most people's territory, most of the time knowing more than I should and so had to so had to construct plans, backup plans and emergancy plans, which I knew were redundant!

Retech I think things though before I launch into them.

Archi, maybe you should start penalizing them for the super weapons platforms with a super deadly random event. I've been the only one hit, and I haven't done anything

Why would they have super deadly random events? Me going around killing everyone because you handled the situation badly?

I can reveal that two people are currently facing super bad random events, one knows about it, the other doesn't and probably won't until Feburary.

it might become even worse with the invincible pirates of Aeroiki.

I have been thinking about that. Maybe a more formalised version should be done, take away some of the freedom...standardise it. I am just trying to think of a way of doing it. But I think Aerokia will stay less controlled.

Well I knew you wouldn't agree. I know how you hate facing facts.

*fears that he is the one that doesn't know about it*

Well I'm the one who knows about it, which is the chance of a major plague striking Japan (and by extension Earth I suppose) due to the crazy over-population of the Litch on Earth.

Further incentives for Litch citizens to join the military have been put forth, with a major incentives to Litch looking to serve on one of the Federation's many aquatic worlds.

TFed has also initiated a new Litch Farming Policy which states that any Litch citizen wishing to start up a farm off-world will have all tools and equipment paid for by the government, as well as a decent sum of funds alloted for building a home and buying seeds.

Many Litch are taking up the offers, and a constant string of government-owned and private transports are moving from Earth to other Federation planets, and back again.

Around 100,000 Litch have also been sent to Mars, to live in the ocean waters that the Federation's Mars colony rests beside.

*Prays that Rocco is the one that has it*

Sorry Archi, I was mad, and I apoligize. Now that I've cooled off, I'd like to explain the reasons why I'm mad:

1. You messed with my species, which I thought was under my jurisdiction.

2. You used that messing up of my species to justify a domestic insurrection, which was perfectly plausible and acceptable, if not for number one.

3. There was no one to say "That doesn't make any sense" or to roll so that the odds were close to impossible that you can alter an entire species by mutated a few individuals.

Oh yes, I'm offering all Lichten citizens on Japan the chance to return to Erikio. All charges against them have been dropped, and they'll be welcomed back into Lichten society. Also, they don't have any growth inhibitors. They'd probaly jump at the chance, since Japan is very overpopulated. Transports are shuttling people back and forth.

-------

How many people are alive in the Capiahs? One is all dead, but the other one has a few people left. Anyways, I'm dropping virophage bombs, which contain bacteria designed to eat that specific kind of virus. The planet should be back to usual within a few years, so I'll start shipping my people back in, even though there isn't much wildlife left.

-------

Oh yah, railguns are foolish. They create too much friction. I suggest coilguns, which generate little to no heat, and they can be powered extremely cheaply (iridium monopoles with alternating currents).

Hey, I said it didn't make sense. Remember when you asked for a possible explanation? I said there was none other than a goa'uld outbreak.

Also for coilguns, add just a little naquadah to either capasitators or coil and it'll use next to no power at all.

Well, if you say "no", then it's still probaly going to happen. Unless it's telling Hex to go away.

Due to fortunate circumstances and evolution, males that are stupid reproduce more and are more willing to work in dangerous jobs, leading to the males becoming stupid again. Hooray for fortunate circumstances!

It's a monopole Mather. The current is just to activate/deactivate them in a row, so that the magnets don't exert any back pull.

Sadly, you're right...

Even if you use a multi-coil design you still use power for the electromagnets themselves, but if they were made from naquadah they would do so that what little is used due to the metal heating is also gained as the naquadah amplifies.

Ok, I get it if you don't understand that, I'll try to make it simpler:

The wires use up some electricity because they are just regular conductors, if you use naquadah in a key component (capasitator or coil) what the naquadah generates while amplifying will equal the energy lost.

Also naquadah would probably amplify the power of the EMfields.

I think you're imagining it as a queen that produces trillions of eggs per second. The queen doesn't breed, except when they clone her so that her mind carries on to the next body.

Also, you're assuming that a small group of prisoners who have been branded with human intelligence, could somehow out-compete billions of existing males in a matter of years.

------------

Also, Naquadah should be allowed, but in extremely small amounts. And the doubling thing doesn't make much sense, but I guess the other applications are feasible, in SMALL AMOUNTS.

You can do that?

I'll buy all your magic for this lollipop!

Rocco, you know they can asexually reproduce. Besides, they have human levels of intelligence, which frankly isn't that high compared to most females. Still wouldn't outcompete other males, which reproduce every day!

Yah, they would reproduce quite often. My point is that they couldn't overtake the general male population.

10 people increasing 20% a year or.... 50 billion people increasing 20% a year.

One increases by 2 people; the other 10 billion.

1. Well since my entire population essentially flamed up into civil war, it was pretty obvious that the intelligent males had control.

2. Exponential growth would favor the larger population, and they don't have a higher breeding rate. Humans definitely don't reproduce faster than fish, unless you're a polygamist and have a billion wives.

1. They're not incredibly smart. The smartest they could be would be as that of an average human, as he spliced in human DNA. It's more likely they are considerably dummer, as it was only a small fragment.

2. Hypothetically, but they can't just constantly pump out new children that fast. 20% was pretty much the limit already. I did the math a while ago. I made the limit such that out of all the egg piles in a year, an average of one egg becomes fertile. Now you know they have an incentive to make as many egg piles as possible, but it doesn't mean they'll become fertile. So basically, either you can break the limit on my race's reproduction (I put a cap on to be fair) or say that it was impossible.

I think you're misunderstanding my statement. No matter how many egg piles the person lays, only one is going to be fertile. It's like with a human female. No matter how much sperm the egg encounters, it's only possible for the egg to become fertilized once.

It's like a female period. There's going to be one egg every year that comes out, no matter what. The others are just like casings for eggs that don't have anything worthwhile inside.
