To Archi, my nation is switching to a constitutional monarchy/representative democracy. Thank you Sere for a model. Basically, there's the queen and a president. There are two houses. One house is consisted of males, the other females. Nothing can get passed into law without both houses approving, while the queen can veto things.

 

The president will be elected by a voting process where everyone can vote. Male and female votes are tabulated separately, with the vote consisting of 50% male and 50% female, regardless of the actual number of each sex.

 

All rebels may rejoin the empire without repercussions.

Scientists estimate that hell-worms have an average length of 100 metres. A species of drake has been discovered as well. These drakes are related to the common ancestor of the hell-worms, but they branched off and formed their own group millions of years ago. Drakes evolved in order to obtain the ability of flight, and they thrive off of small "aquatic" wildlife that the hell-worms feed off of. Unlike their cousins, however, drakes thrive off of the iron that exists in the blood of their prey. They capture these small animals by diving and snatching the animals into their talons, just like eagles. Competition leads hell-worms and drakes to clash with each other when they enter each others' hunting territory. Drakes have an enormous wingspan, and their horns resemble rams' horns.

The Terran Navy is bombarding the shores of Japan, its air force running strategic bombing missions on its infrastructure, and tactical bombers softening the beach landing zones. There is currently a 3-wave amphibious assault taking place with 800,000 soldiers, as well as a 300,000 strong orbital dropship attack in southern Japan. Due to the civil unrest, it's unlikely there will be much of a defending force.

 

I intend to keep Japan after this is over. Serve as a slap on the wrist for threatening to virus bomb Earth.

 

Also, 80% of my entire fleet is in Sol, so there are no Litch troops that can get onto the planet, that's a guarantee.

 

Diplomacy would've been preferable in your case Retech. But, after Japan is taken hostilities will end, at least on my part.

-And 50 billion people? As Arch said, Japan had 5b people, 26% apparently evacuated, so that's 4b people. The logistics of having an army of 4b is...erm..implausible, to say the least.

 

I was under the impression as well that we had moved away from the 60m troop attacks, since they were just stupid.

 

Besides, if there were 50b people in Japan they would've been heavily malnourished and starving to death (not in the best fighting condition).

 

The attack is on GAMEpause right now, so they can't build defenses and whatnot (this is just until Arch gets back and makes his decision). Lesser of two evils, Arch?

I don't have army stats for Japan, but it is 50 billion. 25 million growing at 20% yearly ended up as 50 billion. You could logically assume that within that 50 billion, there'd be a sizable former-military group.

 

I'm aware of that Dusty, but I'd rather not be surprise attacked and destroyed while I'm away. I'm on most of the time anyways, so that should be fine.
