Well keep in mind Archi, prisoners are to Lichtens as cattle are to Humans. We brand them to make sure we know who they belong to. It would be pretty obvious that they would be prisoners, since they were the only ones who could even be in the employ of the SFW (Lichtens aren't big fans of travelling, except to go on a pilgramage to Japan)

The Militopian games only classes Swimming as 1 Event, otherwise Atheletics would count as something like 30 events, and the winner of one running race would probably win all of them...so that would be +30% to one person, based on being able to run fast. And 1% doesn't really seem like a fair reward for swimming 100 meters...

 

Added to that we would then need to seperate for men and women and others and the whole thing would get horribly complicated and I would give up and invent some magic technology to win everything just to end the nightmare(Its a sad day when it is easier to disprove Heisburg than it is to force a spreadsheet to work.)

The athletes would have children, their children would have children, and those children would have children before the race was completed. Either way, by the second set of children they would've forgotten where they were going, settled down and built a small farm town which would gradually flourish into a kelp-growing superpower.

TFed has enacted 3 policies to deal with the overpopulation on Japan.

1. 1 Child Policy, will cut down growth rate to -50% (or so)

2. Offering incentives to Litch citizens that are willing to move to a different Federation planet.

3. Conducting research into genetically modifying Litch so that they can safely eat and process "human food", which should reduce the stress on the ecosystem and the massive farmspace needed in the ocean.

 

Clinics are also being set up, and the military and ministry of health are keeping close watch on Japan in case they need to quarantine an area quickly to stop the spread of the plague or any other type of disease associated with over-population.

Surface production on Midgard, Sol, and New Russia have started churning out Basilisk/Scorpion Artillery-Tanks, MAASs, Combat Mechs, Armoured APCs, Fighter-Interceptors, Tactical Bombers, and Rifles en masse.

 

Going through upgrade/production phase for the military.

 

-New Tank model being researched (Panzerkampfwagen VII Ausführung H) - Or you could just say Tiger Tank :P

-New Fighter Plane model being researched (Messerschmitt Me 960)

Just a side note Dusty the Far Range Transport tech is not availible to you, since it was all done from where ever I am now...Sorry to disappoint but it is quite a feat to build an installation capable of doing it.

I'm pretty sure they'll be both grateful to the empire that saved them from extermination, and understand the necessity of the move. Totalitarian measures can be taken against anyone who disobeys the law though.
